< doesn't understand how playing video games is dangerous, unless one already has a preexisting condition that makes one react violently to what happens on screen, in which case why is the person in question allowed to play video games in the first place.

Basically, if you go full plant-mode and not eat, move or blink ever while stuck to your screen, you will start hallucinating, getting cramped pains and die from all sorts-a nasties. Don't be an idiot and you'll be absolutely fine.
