< has no time to be doing programming at this present moment in time. But if and when < returns to it, < doesn't really want to work with Assembler either, < wants to regain and work on what < did last year, and graduate to some of the more complex 3rd Gen languages.

< recommends trying C++.

As for C languages < has done C# and C++, and worth noting that < has done Java too, which is based of C#
< mostly uses C# though as it's the one < uses for games
lolno
< points out that C# was introduced by Microsoft to be similar to Java.
< wonders if you meant "similar". If not, < means no disrespect.

Hmm, if ^ doesn't mind < asking, did ^ get taught programming during ^'s time in High School?

That's all the programming knowledge < back then, unless ^ got ninja'd there by < and meant Plum

Nah, < was referring to ^. < is jealous that ^ had the opportunity to do some real programming, as opposed to what < did, which fell more into general graphics and website stuff.

< learned some VB from <'s father a long time ago, and is somewhat self-taught in C/C++.
< can empathise with Roles.

< surprisingly hasn't been hit hard with the Hay Fever today, but < did have quite a few coughing fits earlier.

< had forgotten to take his anti-histamine yesterday morning before the Physics exam, so spent a lot of the three hours in fear that < would sneeze and obliterate the exam paper !

< is also having pretty bad allergies lately. <'s entire face is affected, and it's been damaging <'s falsetto. :(

< went to a two-month VB camp when < was ten where < programmed a basic version of Donkey Kong. < remembers none of what < learned though.

Thinking of such <'s brother (who's at the same high school as < went to) is currently doing a games dev subject there, like as a proper school subject
All < got was standard ICT and a computing subject for those who want to run businesses

< only did VB during <'s studies.
< didn't like it at all.
< sucks at programming (no joke, < REALLY sucks...).

< only had ICT, < thinks < can actually remember the individual units as well, the first one had some Word Processing, Excel, Publisher and Powerpoint. The second was based on graphics, so < had to use a graphics package, < can't remember what it was though. The last unit was multimedia, and involved making a (pretty primitive) e-zine, with some images, embedded videos, yadda yadda yadda. < recalls having to make an e-portfolio for each unit, which was done via Adobe Dreamweaver, but even so, < remembers that the html was barely used, it was all design view.

< saw Ad's video on Mario Kart. < says its quality is great - one of the only videos that actually seem HD when viewed on this insane screen < apparently got himself. xD
< also says it suffers from that classic AVI-ing a bit. You know, where it draws images broken up by horizontal lines inbetween moving frames.

<'s programming experience comes from C-based languages, but not the classic actual C-languages like C++ or C#.

That's interlacing, which was a result of < compressing the file to not be 11 gigs. :P < did a poor job.

Here's a shorter, non-interlaced video:
