Since we can't talk about emulation at RZ I'll take the discussion regarding emulating the Jaguar beta here. So it can be played on an emu eh? Interesting.

I think it can, but you need Linux.

You made a mistake. You can emulate the Jaguar Rayman 1 beta demo on both Windows and Linux but it will work better on Linux .

It's really sad how the Mac is left behind when it comes to Jaguar emulation tough...

By better do you mean it plays sound and doesn't crash?

Sound is hardly supported on any Jaguar emu, sorry. I gave the full one a whirl in Virtual Jag and I was quite surprised to be able to hear *some* sound. It was really screwy though and kept going on and off, but still.

Only Project Tempest works with Vista, and it keeps freezing, so I can't even play the game properly :|

Windows Vista : The "Damnit" starts now :P.

Anyway, why don't you just install Linux ? It is free and doesn't take much space : Click

Speaking of running emulated Rayman, does anyone know how to make Dreamcast emulators work with Rayman 2? I have the BIOS and everything, I mount the image on the virtual drive, but the emulator won't play the game. Could someone please help me?

I'm using the "ChankastAlpha025" emulator.

The ISO? Well, the file is called "Rayman 2 (E) (CCS)", if that helps. I downloaded it on Nitro Roms.

I couldn't get far in Virtual Jaguar either, and it doesn't save nor has save states. :/

Well, try to use Pasta... oops, this Polish pseudo of Dreamcast is stupid. So: try to use Makaron, nullDC, Demul etc. And check checksums of both Iso and two bios files (there are two, right?).

By the way, I sold my PS1 console, and if I ever bother, I play Rayman on my PS2- the only problem with this is that I have to use the passwords, and whenever I try to get cages it won't save it unless I have all of them in a certain area.

Is there a way out of this?

1. You mean it din't appear on PS1 with same disc?
2. Someone with PS2 and Rayman, does it work same way?

It only saves onto a memory card if you step on a Magician's hat on the map and then you choose to save.

PS2 memory cards shouldn't be expensive these days anyways. Mine fuckin cost me £27 when I first got my PS2 back in 2001.

But it only allows him to save cages if he destroyted all, if I understood good!

Example.
Before saving.
Level 1. 0 cages.
Level 2. 3 cages.
Level 3. 4 cages.
Level 4. 6 cages.

After loading.
Level 1. 0 cages.
Level 2. 0 zages.
Level 3. 0 cages.
Level 4. 6 cages.
