< guesses 8.1 changed a lot of things. startisback helped a lot too, and people quickly forgot what it was without the Start button.
< is not using that much the welcome screen, so still a useless feature for PC and classic laptops. May be interesting on tablets, but people are still using computers more than tablets -3-/.
