"for a week" I never got a permanent ban, I was worried about getting one.
That name rings a bell, did you at any point put links to RtAS on the forums that linked to Episodes uploaded on YouTube?Cairnie wrote:RaygirlROL
Why would you get banned if you told people about best source for Rayman Soundtracks?Drolpiraat wrote:On the second RZ (I barely posted on the first one) I did get a permanent ban on several accounts for telling people about RayTunes.
About the facebook page, everything is still on there, they just merged all the fan pages and now they won't let you view all of them at the same time. You have to select a region for it: click the little gear next to the message button, select Switch Region and click the region you want.
RaygirlROL is just named Raygirl on DevArt, I tend to use that name to prevent confusion between other Raygirls here. This happened before I even bought the DVD, about a year or so ago and the ban was done by a general mod who obviously didn't like what Raygirl and I said between each other.Master wrote:That name rings a bell, did you at any point put links to RtAS on the forums that linked to Episodes uploaded on YouTube?Cairnie wrote:RaygirlROL
For some reason Nintendo started doing something similar a while back. They were profiting from other people's content just because they included Nintendo footage. Thankfully they stopped.Haruka wrote:Man, that sucks.
I had a copyright strike when I attempted to post on YouTube the very first prototype footage of Rayman Legends. As a question of policy, I decided to remove it but it is annoying when these things happen.
Because of copyright issues? dude.OldClassicGamer wrote:Why would you get banned if you told people about best source for Rayman Soundtracks?
It does not make any sense to me.
Yep, that. The moderators there took it quite seriously. That's why I had so many accounts there: Drolpiraat, Poo-Pirate, Yv0386-51, Bar. I think Bar_Yv0386-51 was my last, but I'm not sure. I stopped caring about it years ago.sergiomonty wrote:Because of copyright issues? dude.OldClassicGamer wrote:Why would you get banned if you told people about best source for Rayman Soundtracks?

Indeed! If I remember correctly, it was mainly because Hunch was banned for some silly reason that he decided to create RaymanPC. In fact, relations between RPC and RZ weren't too good for a long while. I remember many RZ users even believed Hunch and other RPC members to be part of ARZO as they said they had been unfairly banned.Master wrote:Heck, if I know my history, its thanks to RZ's mistreatment of its members that RPC ended up being conceived in the first place.
Hah, I got the exact same thing with the same OS in 2004! Unfortunately, I already owned a copy of Rayman 3.emshomar wrote:and free Rayman 3 by GamesLoad on Windows XP Media Center Edition.
I heard about that "drama scene", but I don't know what caused it.Master wrote:The RZ forums still exist, but they're pretty much a wasteland, barring that whole striking drama from a few months back.
I also a the retail R3 DVD. I discovered that offer later on.Adsolution wrote:Hah, I got the exact same thing with the same OS in 2004! Unfortunately, I already owned a copy of Rayman 3.emshomar wrote:and free Rayman 3 by GamesLoad on Windows XP Media Center Edition.
