What band was that?

I listened to nothing but Coldplay for about a half year because I was dumb.

Radiohead - Creep (acoustic)

This version is absolutely brilliant, especially the second chorus and bridge.

I don't want to sound like I'm comparing myself to Yorke directly, but have a very similar aim for 'imperfection' like this, and I find even my breathing and patterns and the way I enunciate and reach for notes to be extremely similar. I find this interesting, since even while Radiohead instantly became a huge influence on my style, most of my influence prior to getting into them (about a year ago), both instrumentally and vocally, had come from Muse.

Even if it's not their strongest work or is something I listen to with equal detail as their later albums, Parachutes is just the perfect album to play in the background. Very relaxing and always a good friend for homework, late nights or whenever I don't feel right.

I still prefer the Blue Room EP in every way. In fact, the Blue Room version of Don't Panic is my favourite Coldplay song:

Rarely have I ever heard a song understand atmosphere so well as this one. Why they decided to take the direction they did in the Parachutes version I don't know, but, ironically, Parachutes feels more like the EP than this does.

Hoenn remakes? No yet but at least we have people making the Hoenn themes sound even sexier by re-making them with the soundfonts in XY.

That choir, and those trumpets, nicely done indeed. The soundfont fits pretty good as well.

I played the game at a friend's house once. It's exhausting. :P

Oh yeah, it's a brilliant version. Blue Room sounds a little too much like a young band that isn't sure what their style is yet and songs like Bigger Stronger have really cringe worthy lyrics... though some parts of Parachutes are just like that too. But at least there's songs like Trouble that do stand out. Either way it's some of their weakest work, but I would still pick it over Mylo Xyloto without thinking twice.

LCD Soundsystem - Someone Great

Starting to like this. Still think some songs are a bit too long to remain interesting for 7 - 9 minutes though.
