Ya, Rayman Legends. Let's keep talking about that.
RaymanZone or whatever is this desert I just found wrote:I'm tired of pleading to you to reconsider delaying Rayman Legends for the Wii U. I've been on a hunger strike for almost 2 months and I can't go on much longer without solid foods. Yet you keep refusing. Well, this is the last straw.

You have a week to reconsider and release the already finished game or I'll be forced to starve myself to death. Same goes for releasing that challenge mode on the eshop.

Reminds me of the trolls on youtube, who make such stupid threats as that.

This reminds me when one guy locked himself in room for 100 days because Nintendo did not want to publish his game. Game was called "Bob's game"

Yeah, except that was warranted. Nintendo actually promised him a dev kit to be shipped to him, and when it didn't arrive and they refused to respond unto the matter, he locked himself in his house. Nintendo I don't believe ever responded.

The hunger strike guy never came back after the challenge app was released... I'm starting to wonder...

"Did he die?"

Nope, not yet. Kinda weird how we haven't gotten any news in awhile.

Also, Haruka, the term is "Did he died".

Image Image Image some images mcentree posted on his blog... don't worry! he said the second screen was an example of "non-organic" design, and the 3rd is the correct organic, natural feel they're rooting for. the first screen is just a regular screenshot! no comparison to the others! EDIT: i was asking him about his work, here is the reply: "It's interesting that you ask about level creation being held back because of constraints, because the next column coming this week touches on that topic. So come back soon and you might have your answer!Typically a level designer is in charge of his level completely. So the higher level game design is set up by the game design team, which defines the gameplay elements, basic design rules, camera systems... all that good stuff. Then the level designer is given a brief stating where in the game the level will appear (which determines the difficulty of the level, and what we want to challenge), which world it is in (which determines the graphical kit and constraints), which gameplay elements are available for use (to add a bit of a gameplay theme or focus for the level) and finally what story we want to tell. Then the level designer creates the level within the set of constraints they have been given, and it is reviewed and iterated until everyone is happy with it."
