< just noticed that < has been wearing her shirt the wrong way the entire day. Time for weekend, I suppose.

< has been working with his new gaming system for the past week: Core 2 Duo E6750, 1GB RAM, 8800GS. (Of course, it's a whitebox system for several reasons. The biggest reason is price--manufacturers charge far too much for component upgrades since usually it's only enthusiasts who can build one on their own. Another is that I can use Windows XP instead of having to downgrade to Vista. Windows is still an awful operating system, and Macs are far, far better quality, though Macs aren't gaming systems, and thankfully, if I'm just gaming, Windows doesn't get in the way overly much.)
< is currently torture testing for errors on Prime95. < will then overclock the CPU to the Core 2 Extreme X6800's external clock (333 to 366) and try again. (Effectively giving it Core 2 Extreme power...dual-core C2E, that is. Didn't have the budget for the E6850.)
< already has upgrade plans ready. Most of these things are starter parts (excellent though), though I'm still upgrading a little later. These would include a Core 2 Duo E8600 (when it's released) and a 9800GX2 (again, when it comes out--March isn't very far though). Finally, the 1GB of RAM is backup memory. < had bought a 2GB module (2GB x 1) at PC6400, though it had corrupt memory on it, so < will have to get another. (Battlefield 2 cannot run smoothly on 1GB, for example.) < has been saving money though.
< is still busy working on it, as you can see. Nevertheless, it performs amazingly for the original budget < put on this.

< got up at 8:00 today, instead of the usual 10:30. yep, i'm a big sleeper. well, in the morining anyway.

< watched a movie with friends, to "think about something else" after the funeral mainly.
< forgot <'s glasses at school, so < didn't quite see most of what happened in the movie, but at least it had good music...

< is very tired due to the fact < is on the forums and playing guitar hero at MIDNIGHT!!!

< also has a hearing aid [is deaf in one ear] but doesn't really like it.

< got glasses when < was thirteen, maybe fourteen... no, thirteen.
<'s sight it rapidly getting worse, so < has to get new glasses every half a year.
Other than that, < is a slight bit anemic, but otherwise functions well.

< for some reason bought Pokemanz for the wii. < has no idea about what's gotten into her.
