Gosh darn it, I find out about this now. I haven't been able to internet all day.

Also, regarding the picture of Rainbow Road changing, it's because I was in a hurry, and linked directly to the daily pic on the Smash website. Doing so means that, because the picture hosted under that url will change every weekday on the Smash website, any links to that url will display different pictures every weekday too. Usually, when I'm linking to daily pics, I rehost them on tumblr, so that they won't change. I didn't have time to do that though. Apologies for the confusion.

Alright, I've given it a gander also, it might work on my laptop...

Anyways apologies for derailing the thread like that, so, back on topic. I'm assuming that image of Starfy was him as an assist trophy?

Hm, so Zelda's back, does this also mean the return of Sheik?

That is the question - as the page only lists Zelda, and we also have this interesting screenshot, that may hint at a movset change (maybe they will make Sheik a separate character). Or, it could be the reveal of a new assist trophy:

As I've said on another forum, Skyward Sword Zelda (the one everyone seems to want) would of blended in too much with Rosalina and Peach when put into Smash. Zelda franchise is supposed to retain some of it's identity.

Personally, I love this take on the TP design. She looks quite intimidating.

So we've got the ditzy, cute and perky Peach - the reserved, beautiful, and motherly Rosalina - the cold, hardened bounty hunter Samus - the intimidating, authourative femme fatale in Zelda - and Wii Fit Trainer. Nice and varied female cast, so far.

lol I could not care less what outfit they use. But then again last time I played game where she appears, she was blonde and drawn by Russians.

Nintendo, you disappoint me yet again:

Imagi Animation Studios, the former computer animation studio behind "TMNT" and "Astro Boy," pitched this CGI "Legend of Zelda" movie to Nintendo. Which Nintendo shut down.

Before the American division was shut down by their Hong Kong-based parent company, Imagi Animation Studios were eyeing a computer-animated "Legend of Zelda" movie as their next project. Given the terrible reception and poor sales of the 1993 "Super Mario Bros." movie, Nintendo weren't likely eager to give another one of their properties to an America studio.

Simply titled "Link," the CGI "Legend of Zelda" demo reel features a stylized art style reminiscent of Jeff Matsuda's work on "TMNT." Judging by the monsters in the demo reel resembling the Shadow Beasts, the CGI "Legend of Zelda" film was possibly taken inspiration from the American-favored 'Twilight Princess." And with no "Excuse me, Princess" in sight, the pitched 'Legend of Zelda" film appeared more faithful to the source material than the Saturday morning cartoon.

Saw it back in August. I know this is pretty much opinion based so I am not gonna go and argue with others for different opinions of course, but I am glad this Zelda movie never came to be. Nintendo does not want history to repeat like with Mario so they will never allow anyone to make movies with their characters. Plus, I hated TMNT CGI movie made by Imagi so I would most likely hate this Zelda movie as well. I am very glad this got cancelled.

I personally think it looked very refreshing. I love the art style, and the animation is beautiful. And it just looks very faithful to the source material, much more than the TMNT movie was. Imagi is a talented studio, but I think they were limited by past projects. I think this Zelda project would of been their jackpot.

I don't know what kinks you're into but I have no idea how that pose would be sexual.
