Why the fuck is every other Nirvana song the same thing? :')
You'll get used to it if you've listened to them as long as I have. Or hopefully you will. Speaking of Nirvana, "Dumb".
Bullshit. Getting used to it won't change the fact Kurt Cobain only knows one riff. This is also mostly a joke.

It's funny because the joke is true. I like Nirvana a lot actually, but at least three songs on Nevermind literally use the exact same riff.

That's just it though, the band always described themselves as punk - despite the fact that they're generally lumped in with grunge, considered the fucking king of the genre - and punk songs tend to have simple, repetitive riffs. Their songs sound the same due to having similar, angsty lyrics with a combination of three-fucking-cord riffs. And it can get annoying, but personally I love most of their songs.

It's funny because the joke is true. I like Nirvana, really, but at least three songs on Nevermind literally use the exact same riff.
The funny part is, when I discovered that, I couldn't stop laughing. I was listening to Smells Like Teen Spirit, and thought, "well I'll be fucked, I have to listen to some more Nirvana because that song is 2mainstream" and I picked "Rape Me" because a) the name is Rulez and b) I heard a funny story about that song once (they were told not to play it at some MTV event, and they did play a few bars of it, then played another, less "vulgar" song, which was fucking hilarious, here's a vid). So as I listened to that song, the very first thing I heard was Smells Like Teen Spirit, almost fucking literally. I couldn't contain myself, this whole situation was so absurd!

I've heard of that whole story about Nirvana playing "Rape Me" despite MTV refusing to let them. Kurt Cobain was told to do something so, naturally, he did the exact opposite.
liek so fuking punk lolz

While it's definitely not up to my lone decision, I really wish the band Highly Amused would pull that kind of shit all the time! Would be hilarious.

Apparently the vocals are African dialect but I could have sworn it sounded like it had been reversed.

Moby is a fantastic artist. Play is up there with some of my favourite albums, and My Weakness is just stunning. Asked the album for Christmas.
King Krule - Bathed in Grey
I should play Krule's debut next time I visit Dallas around night time. Seems to be the kind of mood this album is going for. Still think I'd have been cool if he had taken the sound of his first EP further though, It's like a mix between Experimental and Chillwave and I thought it had a lot of potential. Either way, great album and a good addition to my music library for this year.

Well, I do enjoy meeting other fans. Actually met some fans of bands I enjoy yesterday, we connected instantly.
