By the way, other secret in Shortcut (1st round): collect Lockjaw and find window mirroring on the floor WITHOUT WINDOW ABOVE. Then, jump into wall here.

lol I spent hours trying to find a secret room in there- it seems so obvious now!

I'm pretty sure we have a list of all secrets hidden in the game, so if anybody's still looking...

I already found out about these secret's when i first played the game :

Otto's secret
Boat secret
Wall secret
Razorbeard secret

I may use the list when i'm going to try to beat my score in Rayman 3 . Thanks for it Xenon.

When I first played game, that I had got from school friend, I had to give it back to him before I reached HHQ...

These secret room's are very usefull when you try to beat your score.

BTW, I remember first secret that I found was probably room with lots of yellow cans in LoLD.

That is one of the easiest secrets in the game, I think. Because Rayman needs to acquire the HMF can, which is conveniently placed the other side, it makes the entry so damn obvious. They could have at least gave a challenge here.

Some secret's need to be found easily and some secret's need to be found hard. It's a frequently asked question in Game Desing on how good secret's should be hidden, and there isn't a real opinion on this subject, but it has much to do with how hard you wan't the game to be and what you are hidding

There are 2 categories of secrets:
-)findable without guide
-)unfindable without guide, if you're not playing same level 7 days WITHOUT BREAKS FOR SLEEPING, EATING, DRINKING AND MORE.

For understandable reasons, I prefer first category.

I've been playing Rayman 3 again today and i used the list to go to secret places. It's a real help.

And about that secret that might still lay in The desert of the Knaaren part 3. I mean in this corridor behind the knaaren :



Can there be a secret behind this Knaaren ?

I just see a wall there

I've searched there and what I found was quite interesting. When you make the Knaarens follow Rayman to the rock barrier, quickly wall-jump to overtake them overhead. Once Rayman enters the tunnel, he suddenly gets teleported back to the start of the area. It works similar to the green teleporters in The Longest Shortcut.

That sucks, they could have added an awesome secret passage -_-

Yeah, I think that would have made a cool secret. Or maybe behind one of the Knaaren doors? I think a mechanism could be hidden somewhere that opens one of them, revealing a nice secret.

Maybe you should try jumping over the teleporter. Maybe we will find a huge secret .

It wouldn't make much sense though
