Yes, they are different enough. What I wondered about for long is RDS soundtrack - N64 one should be easy to adapt... and look what we got.

I noticed an error on the site today: when i tried to download songs frvom Rayman M, the small window loaded Rayman PC's page saying the page is not found. Same as at RRR, which threw me a 403 error.

Yeah, there have been a lot of problems with the RayTunes servers for quite some time now, and Romano can't fix them. Guess we'll have to wait

Its a shame.
I should start consider buying CDs/DVDs to burn the RayTunes musics and store them in separate from my computer. Just in Rayman musics is GBs and GBs!

That's actually a good idea. Perhaps I'll do the same, even printing cover art and lasering on CD labels.

I was just wondering, will a rip of the Beyond Good & Evil soundtrack ever be uploaded to RayTunes sometime in the future? I know the game has little relation to the Rayman series, but considering it has an article on RayWiki, and also that Tonic Trouble and Rabbids titles are in the process of being uploaded in the future, I can't see why not? I did find a complete soundtrack from the HD version in FLAC format elsewhere though, on the ffshrine forum: http://forums.ffshrine.org/f72/%5Bflac| ... ip-110230/
The uploader's avatar resembles the character on Droolie's signature, could it be him?

Yep, that's me. ^^
The Rabbids soundtracks won't be uploaded on RayTunes. Tonic Trouble might be, because it's so much like Rayman. While Beyond Good & Evil has a great soundtrack, I doubt it's relevant enough to put on RayTunes, which pretty much focuses on Rayman titles. What do the others think?

I think we could have an 'Others' section or page which would include the Tonic Trouble, Beyond Good & Evil, and Rabbids soundtracks.

It should either be Rayman-related or Other Ubisoft games section.

Yeah, an Others category for soundtracks not directly linked to Rayman would be a better way forward.

Is it alright, for the Rayman 2 soundtrack on YouTube, if I intuitively combine the reprises with the main tracks? No bit of track whatsoever is lost, I simply either link them to the main track at the end or slot them somewhere within the track where it would seem most fit. It think it would make for a cleaner YouTube playlist.

That would be great. I tried something similar when I was unable to download any of the soundtracks of RM: Loop the music. I was a bit disappointed by the fact that my favorite song is just 1:30 if it is from raytunes, while in the game it loops forever and I can listen to it as long as the fight or race doesn't end.
In any case, howewer, the songs that have temporarily been uploaded to the "mega" storage have been deleted. :/

Aye. Just for reference, here are two (three) fairly major examples of the reprise combinations (the videos are unlisted and on my account):
The Woods of Light:
0:00 --- 003 - The Woods of Light ~ First Dawn
0:09 --- 004 - The Woods of Light
1:31 --- 005 - The Woods of Light ~ Reprise
1:51 --- 004 - The Woods of Light
Skiing across the marshes:
I heavily rearranged the parts of this track so that they fit the actual progression of the level
The Celestial Slide:
0:00 --- 042 - The Celestial Slide ~ Reprise
0:03 --- 041 - The Celestial Slide
0:51 --- 042 - The Celestial Slide ~ Reprise
1:34 --- 041 - The Celestial Slide
Also note that, like the Rayman 1 soundtrack, I have little modifications to the image depending on the 'world.'

I simply put the tracks together exactly how they were originally - in the order Eric Chevalier's original tracks were in. But yes, those reprise combinations seem like a good idea. Great work!
I also like the idea of the Others section. I'll probably add that when the storage server works again (hUMCH has been harassing Romano to get it fixed).
Rayrobi wrote:In any case, howewer, the songs that have temporarily been uploaded to the "mega" storage have been deleted. :/
Yep. MEGA took them down because they apparently received complaints about it, but this has never happened for any of the non-MEGA RayTunes stuff before, so we don't think it's anything to worry about yet. The storage server will probably (hopefully) be fixed soon, so I won't reupload it until it's fixed... unless it takes a while.

I think it does looks improved in overall quality compared with the original soundtrack that RayTunes add. Maybe Droolie will use it?

Just a quick update to inform you that the broken links on RayTunes have been fixed.

That's marvellous, finally after a good 6 months or so, RayTunes is back in business as it should be, now all we need is for the M/Arena tracks to be put on.

Romano also confirmed that Droolie should be able to log in to the storage server and add those new tracks, though I'm waiting for his confirmation. Let's take care of RaySaves now!
