I know there's New York City in New York, but I decided since he said he lives in Watertown he must be referring to the State.
Anyway, I saw Casino Royale. It was pretty good.

Casino Royale is boring.

I'm prepared to be egged, but none of the James Bond films really appealed to me at all. The one-eyebrow-up and half-closed eyes grimmaces seemed to follow with the movies themselves - a bit TOO cool for my liking.

Everyone has their opinions, I don't care that much about James Bond.

I watched Thr3e recently. It surprised me.

Casino Royale is one of the better Bond films. You should see Quantum of Solace; now that's a piece of crap!

I just came home from the cinema after having watched Orps: The Movie, lol.
I loved it. Hilarious from the very beginning. Actually it was hilarious before it had even begun.

Dunno there. I actually found it (Casino) good, but ISN'T a good old Bond movie with lots of gadgets, plans of destructing the world and the humour.

Watched Enter the Dragon, the 1970s Bruce Lee classic on G4.

I also saw American History X. (Mostly because of Edward Norton--very believable in Fight Club, and downright real in this movie) Tragic, shocking story revolving around a former neo-Nazi and his new-found intentions on keeping his younger, impressionable brother from going down the same path he did.

Watched Edward Scissorhands last night. Such a great film! :D but sad... :( I don't like films that are sad! Dx

I still haven't seen the beginning of it though. I hate that.

Recently I watched:

The Big Lebowski - absolutely hilarious film with a crazy plot, I loved it
No Country for Old Men - brilliant movie, one of the best of 2008
Léon - arguably the best Luc Besson's movie (The Fifth Element is also very good though)
The Shining - that was reaaaally strange at first but it gets much better in the end
Reservoir dogs - some really nice dialogues there, well-directed too, great movie
Monty Python and The Holy Grail (or sth) - couldn't stand more than 15 minutes of that

Sometimes, jokes are build on things which wouldn't be understandable outside one's country, or something absolutely normal would sound like a joke in another land. An example: in one of Olsen Gang's movies, Egon says something like "when national railways don't care about time, who would, actually?". In Poland, this is absurdal - Polish National Railway makes about 10% of trains lated about half of an hour, and there are some proofs of nine hour lating without any reason.

Agreed. I think.....I've only seen it once in the theater, but I wasn't wearing my glasses, so it was a little hard to see things clearly. Especially the battle sequence at night.
