The space between his beard, bandana and guitar had a patch of backgroud, as well as a small area under the guitar.
This picture might make it clearer to see what I'm talking about.

I guess it's because it's not really something you bump into. It actually looks like the purple is part of his body, so you don't really notice it's not supposed to be there.
