Yeah that makes sense. Some days I can handle having less sleep, other days I have to just sleep longer and then wake up later in order to get the sleep my brain wants. It is how it is, I guess.

For some reason I'm feeling a lot less sleepy than a few hours ago.

Yeah there sure are many different factors, food consumption is definitely one of them.

Would you believe that I still choose to never drink? When we lost one of my babies (One of my cats) mom got drunk for the first time because it hurt her too much... I wasn't even tempted to do the same.

I've always heard it was all about eating before drinking so alcohol doesn't hit you quickly

Wow you’ve never had alcohol? That’s pretty amazing. I didn’t drink in college like in sure most people did, I started afterwards, and even then only on rare occasions.

I tried a sip of something before and didn't like it.

Besides that, I struggle with ADHD, I really don't want to fuck up my brain more than it already is.

If you're not into it it's all to your credit! Although I believe it is perfectly fine and you will never encounter any issue if you drink for leisure once in a while. I mean, alcohol can enjoyed aside from its recreational effect.
Addiction is different, don't quote me on this but I guess than to be addicted to alcohol you'd have to hit the bottle pretty hard, either quite often or on difficult situations. Special conditions can be catalysts, I wonder about ADHD.
