I also don't see where's the problem despite on most cultures being a taboo theme... I wouldn't click in a topic that I would disagree, just ignoring it.

I agree with spiraldoor, in my opinion this forum isn't the right place to discuss such things.

I've been looking to the members list and now thinking... The majority of the members are young and... this is a Rayman forum. A French game forum.

That's a good point. It's mostly minors on here, isn't it? And of course age caps wouldn't work... dammit. I was all looking forward to it.

The theme I confess I'm not very confortable to talk about it. Plus this isn't the right place to talk about it. Game forum, game-game-game.

Trust me, I don't care at all whether this topic is created or not, I'm just saying it would be ok. Sex is quite important, and the fact that people here are mostly underage/inexperienced justify the fact that they would want/need to talk about this.

Both of you seem to think that the only thing wrong with the existence of a sex thread would be that I would have to look at it, and that this could be remedied by ‘not clicking’ on it. What on earth would be discussed in a sex thread, anyway? I can’t even imagine what the first few posts would contain. Just ‘general discussion’? Sharing of experiences? ‘Hints & Tips’? What sort of content (images, descriptions etc) would be allowed and disallowed? Where precisely do you draw the line between what is acceptable and what is not? Would you have us return to the depravity of the Shawn era, where we had separate threads to discuss masturbation and fetishes? How many sexual threads would be allowed? Would there be a limit? This whole idea just sounds terrible to me. If you want to talk about sex, go and find some site which exists for that purpose and do so there. Or do so via the private messaging system, if you can find anyone else here who really wants to.

Sex is obviously important from an ‘ensuring the continuation of the species’ angle, but I do not see why Pirate-Community must be the place where such ‘important’ discussions are held. I do not want this site to be crowded by a bunch of sexually-inexperienced underage children saying ‘Hi I’m 12 and what is this?’. I don’t care if they ‘want’ or ‘need’ to talk about it; that’s what IRL friends and sex education are for, isn’t it? Keep your sex out of my Rayman forums.

The same could be said about some other threads here but of course people go their way to peek anyway and end up being WHAT HAS BEEN SEEN CAN'T BE UNSEEN and shit.

I just can't understand the way you think, spiral. At least for the first paragraph, but I agree with you about the content of such a topic, but I don't think a sex topic would be really serious anyway, people probably wouldn't want to share their experiences.

Spiral, I agree with you to a degree; it's the younger age of some members which turns me off the idea. At the same time, if there was once a Fetish topic, surely a Sex one would be far more useful and suitable? And in all honesty, the people who frequent PC the most are legal. Nevertheless, kids...
