< does wonder if Steo finally decides to go to bed at a decent time, this time around.

< will be honest; < was feeling crappy all day yesterday, and then < was planning to have some coffee last night and try do some course work. < and <'s girlfriend decided to lay down temporarily (it was just after 9PM), then suddenly < just remembers waking up at 11PM like "shit how long was I asleep".

< ended up watching an episode of Pokémon with <'s gf while laying in bed, and playing Leaf Green for about half an hour or so, then just going back to sleep. < got up at just after 8AM, though < did keep waking up during the night due to sleeping at a different time.

< ended up going to bed around 9:30pm <'s time. < was a bit tired.

< is glad ^ got to bed at a decent time though. < says ^ needed it, and a good time for ^ to spend time with ^'s girlfriend. :)

Yeah ideally < should be going to bed at "normal" times instead of staying up until 4AM.

< doesn't need to go to bed extremely early or anything, but aiming for midnight wouldn't be too bad, and at least getting up around 8-9AM instead of when it's either noon or almost noon. :P

< says thanks also, it was fun. :)

< thinks 4AM is ^’s classic sleeping time.

< is developing a weird sleep pattern. < is sleeping on time like 11PM-1AM, but for some reason < wakes up really early, like 5-6AM, then goes to the bathroom and when < comes back < goes back to sleep and wakes up 4-5 hours later.

< says that’s pretty close to <’s sleep schedule

< generally tries going to bed by 10PM, since < generally gets up around 6AM for work every morning, except the weekends of course.

Yeah exactly, and < shouldn't get back into that habit in the long run.

That seems like a pretty reasonable schedule at least. < often falls into bad habits even though < does like getting up early while not being tired.

That makes a lot of sense though. It's probably a good routine to not deviate too far from that time either. It also probably just feels better for ^, since ^ is used to getting up early anyway. Some people are night owls, others feel like they have wasted the day if they sleep late, even though they also stay up late. Being honest, < would prefer keeping to a schedule where < would get up early though, it feels more natural, and probably is too. :P

< knows when < is able to talk to ^ on Discord during evening time for <, it's late for ^.

Good news is it's the weekend now, and < is looking forward to having ^ and Master around for Rayman 3 streams.

< will certainly be checking out the Rayman Alive event as well, < it sounds exciting!

< might be able to talk Neo into watching it too.

< isn't entirely sure what to expect when it comes to some projects, but < imagines it will be fun overall. < would also be interested to know what both ^ and neo think of it.

< thinks it's also the occasion to tease that we have an announcement to make during Rayman Alive. :hap:

< Welcomes Hunch to tease away with this! :proud:

< Has managed to successfully test the new screen in <'s Sega Nomad, though < still needs to finish the job and replace some capacitors in it now.

< says nice work! < always loved console modding like this, so it's interesting that ^ is really into it too. :)

< never had a Nomad though, however, < did put a backlit screen in <'s GBA in 2018 following seeing that ^ did it.

< is debating whether < should walk right now or just watch the event first. < is leaning towards watching the event since it's shining and sunny out.

< says it was more tedious having to solder onto some of the legs of the RGB chip on the PCB. < didn't want to screw that up.

The worst part now is closing it up without stupid specs of dust getting between the new glass lens and the screen, which < has to take it back apart to deal with that. At least the new IPS screen works nicely though!

< wonders how difficult the backlight screen mod was for ^? < can't remember the complexity, but < did change out the GBA shell entirely for a nice aluminum one and rechargeable battery!

< is popping by to say hello and Merry Christmas to everyone :noel:

Such a pleasant surprise to see so much activity here in 2023 - much better than previous years unless I'm misremembering.
