The story follows Light's attempt to create and rule a world cleansed of evil using the notebook, and the complex conflict between him, his opponents and a mysterious detective known to the world only as L.
There's 12 volumes for the manga and about 50 episodes for the anime, it's truly great. :)
To be precise, there are 37 episode in the anime. There are 3 live action movies as well. The anime is truly addictive, I recommend it to everyone :3 ( but don't start watching when you're busy with stuff :P )

A friends of mine gave me the original Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind's manga. Even if it's an old one and über difficult, I really like it! Most of all, the edition is really splendid!

sayonara zetsubou sensei is another funny anime, a suicidal teacher with crazy students hilarity ensues. and the openings and ending songs to the anime are cool and catchy (to me)

Yes, Full Metal Alchemist definitely! (And don't forget to watch the movie.) Vampire Knight is also good. One Piece is fun, it's still running though. (I prefer watching anime that already have been concluded.)

Currently watching One Piece :)

Btw, what anime are actually crap? I know Naruto and Bleach aren't that good..

Lol I started watching One Piece then stopped for some reason, I guess I should start re-watching it, once I remember what episode I stopped at.

Sugar Sugar Rune is shit compared to it's manga, pretty much all girly transforming super hero like animes are crap, although Sailor Moon sn't that bad, and Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne is a must see. :mryellow:

Yup, or here, but the scans' quality is sometimes low.
The first part of Bleach is quite fun (stupid, but fun if you watch everything at once), then it becomes real shit. Naruto is quite good (at least the first half) but I don't know much girls that like it.
