Hmm, I don't think there are many Rayman TASers, but I could be proven wrong.

Well I don't believe other people have expressed much interest in doing R1 speedruns here, so... I don't really see the need for this topic to be honest. No offence, but it's basically propaganda for WeshKanapesh at the moment, lol.
Also, why are only the GBA, PC and PS1 (not PSX!) included? There are other platforms R1 was released on...

Probably because they're the most likely to be host to a speedrun, though I guess the DSiWare release could be warranted a spot.

I'm currently playing the DSiWare release not much after I beat the PS1 version. It's a walk in the park. I think it could easily reduce your amounts of deaths by about 30 - 50 when you compare it to PC or PS1.

I never chronometered the time I take to complete a R1 game, but I would say it is approximately 4 hours.

I don't think I've ever successfully managed a Rayman 1 speedrun. I always get too lost looking about at the scenery.

I lately made a speedrun of Rayman 1 for PlayStation. I noted down 3hours and 12minutes. Maybe I could beat the PC much faster. Am I allowed to completly record my attempt for the pc version?

I've actually done a comparison where I played both DSi and GBA at the same time. DSi is definitely more difficult. More enemies, faster moving platforms, etc.
