Lie to me. But in a very narrow, and specific manner.

Re: Lie to me.
Banana, I just said that statements using inversions (ie. NOT followed by something true), are not permitted, try to be more careful.

Re: Lie to me.
Well, I haven't seen any issues since my last nag, but I want to make something very clear in regards to how this thread currently stands. This thread was originally created on a Record Day, where we tend to lower the threshold for post quality, as you can see on the first few pages. The rule to not resort to inversions was created afterwards to ensure that the thread did not end up being spam-inclined when it saw normal daily use.
This rule however, has been flouted too many times to count, and as such, as Adsolution warned in the Name for Rayman 4 thread:

I've lost count of how many times this thread has sunk into using inversions despite repeated requests not to. Consequently, this thread is now on its final legs, no more warnings are going to be given.Adsolution wrote:If this thread wants to survive, there needs to be a major increase in quality. Seeing as that probably won't happen, It will likely very soon end up being locked until Record Day.

I hate the Professor Layton movie and thus I'm not watching it at the very moment.

Re: Lie to me.
This topic is the fucking pinnacle of objective excellence. Literally nothing can top it. The creative effort shown here is truly remarkable, and quite inspiring as a writer. The simple inversion here is subtle, and yet, says all it needs to say without conveying it too obviously, much like a good Tommy Wiseau performance. If you want to an example to set the standard for a good forum game here, look no further.Imco97 wrote:I hate the Professor Layton movie and thus I'm not watching it at the very moment.

Re: Lie to me.
I've given four warnings asking members to stop using inversions (ie. I don't X, I haven't X, I hate what I like etc.). It's gotten so bad that I've just added a rather infuriated warning to the OP. Put simply, I'm done giving warnings at this point, I'm taking action.

Re: Lie to me.
The reason for my absence is that I flew to central Europe and discovered the Shangri-La-like place where the Pied Piper led all the children. I then got lost and lost track of time, which is why it took so long to get back.
