Or awesome. it doesn't matter really.
Re: What's your screen resolution?
Bump!
may I change my vote in the poll? I’m using a 19-inch 1280x1024 (yes, 5:4) display.

I'm afraid that won't be possible with out changing the poll. Which is out of date, yet historical.Fifo wrote:Bump!

Though I gotta admit, I'm highly amused with this option. "2048x1536 (LOL)". Nice one Matyuv.
As for my current resolution, it is 2560 x 1440, an IPS display. I do have a CRT that'll do 1920 x 1200 native or even be pushed to 2560 x 1600 at 70Hz.

Hmm, given how much displays have changed since this poll was first put up, perhaps a refresh is in order.

Makes me wonder how 240p will end up looking on this if your CRT does 1920x1200 native.Hoodcom wrote:I do have a CRT that'll do 1920 x 1200 native or even be pushed to 2560 x 1600 at 70Hz.

Could make for quite a big poll too.Master wrote:Hmm, given how much displays have changed since this poll was first put up, perhaps a refresh is in order.
Afterall, we gotta count for a lot of various displays.
Granted I supposed anything below 1024 x 768 is no longer needed unless we are talking retro computing use, but we have up to 5k displays in this day and age.
Pretty freaking good, because here's the fun part about CRT. Lower resolutions actually DO look good. Unlike LCD technology.emshomar wrote:Makes me wonder how 240p will end up looking on this if your CRT does 1920x1200 native.Hoodcom wrote:I do have a CRT that'll do 1920 x 1200 native or even be pushed to 2560 x 1600 at 70Hz.

A 1920x1200 CRT!? Wow! How big/heavy is it?Hoodcom wrote:I do have a CRT that'll do 1920 x 1200 native or even be pushed to 2560 x 1600 at 70Hz.

If I could only find a cheap way to hook up a PC to a CRT television.

I bet that must have been horribly expensive at that time...Fifo wrote:Check this out! http://www.geek.com/games/john-carmack- ... 5-1422971/

Re: What's your screen resolution?
Weight is about 100 pounds / 42kg, it's quite heavy. Manual on it, if you wish to look: https://docs.sony.com/release/GDMFW900.PDFFifo wrote:A 1920x1200 CRT!? Wow! How big/heavy is it?

I don’t think I’d be able to handle such a thing myself!Hoodcom wrote:Weight is about 100 pounds / 42kg, it's quite heavy. Manual on it, if you wish to look: https://docs.sony.com/release/GDMFW900.PDFFifo wrote:A 1920x1200 CRT!? Wow! How big/heavy is it?
I’m currently reading the manual.
