A former employee from Bandai Namco reveal that he worked on the rendering engine of Smash 5 before leaving the studio and before his twitter account got deleted for unknown reason. This suggest that Namco work also on Smash 5 like they worked for Smash 4.


Btw, what your predictions for the roster of Smash 5 ?

Personally, I don't really have any predictions on the next smash game for the moment. I just hope that my favorite characters will be even better than they were in the previous installments

Super Smash Bros Ultimate is now the name of Smash 5. The game will contain every characters from the past game + new characters like the Inklings, Daisy or even Ridley. The release date is on 7 December 2018.

I hope they Don't change Luigi's smash attack. They already changed his weird negative moon attack from SSBB to the poltergust 500 attack. Those are Good enough.

Something to ponder too. Princess Peach usually has Daisy's colour palette choice. But Since Daisy herself is in it. Then what's the point of the palette swap choice at this point? Will something be done, probably.

Probably so, it wouldn’t make sense otherwise. I hope there are other characters that were added to this game that we don’t know of yet. Though I admit the roster is getting quite big that’s fine since it’s Smash....unlike a certain game I’m thinking of. (I’m sure ^ knows what I’m talking about... )
