I think most of us have a decent idea of what country everyone lives in, but not exactly what sort of environment. Do you live in the heart of a city? A quiet town? Deep in the mountains? Do you like it there?

Quiet Town is what I reside in, it's pretty peaceful for the most part, though the offside is that it can get a little boring sometimes.

My town is near a mountain area. Though it's usually hot most of the time.

I live about 45 minutes from Dallas, so I'm surrounded by the typical American suburbs. It's a life of luxury, no doubt, but things are very dull around here and everything is very separated. You can't walk to places. Just to walk out of the neighborhood takes 15 - 20 minutes so without a car you're stuck at home. Then again there's not much to go to anyway.

The only difference is that the grass is brownish or full brown almost three full quarters of the year

But now I don't.

Nice Place Rulez! where is it?

I currently (since july) live in a small town called Meillerie, next to the Leman sea and the switzerland border.
It's very peaceful, even in summer when it's crowded not too far. It's the perfect place to work from home as I do. i can enjoy the lake duing summer (and all the year for fishing!) and go skiing in winter, as ski resorts are at 15 mins !
My apartment is in a big house just in front of the lake and the owners are here only during summer

When the weather is good, it really feels like being in holidays... Fulltime.

Let me point out that the first picture I posted is slightly modified but it actually does look pretty nice at night.

It's Przemyśl, in Poland. It's an okay place.

Why do you live in such beautiful places? The suburb I live in is just as exciting as it looks.



I can't get over how flat it is around here. Like... at least a few mountains in the background would really be nice. But nope, pretty much nothing to see here.

Not the street I live in but it gives a gist of the nearby environment here. Hills, lots of trees, and the fact I've had deer in my front garden.

That's the one and only thing I like about winter - snow usually looks fucking beautiful on photos like these.

That swamp spans all the way from the shore to the mountains in the far distance, it's got to be the largest I've ever seen.
