Hi RPC users,

How do I access the secret Fairy Glade area in the Echoing Caves by other means? I like that area and the game's too difficult for me.

EDIT - PS1: I've won the entire game with 770 lums!

I don't believe you can, unfortunately. Which part of the Menhir Hills are you finding difficult?

Meh, not legitimately, you could moonjump to the secret area from the normal Fairy Glade, or, if you're playing the PC version, use the level select cheat, and get to the Echoing Caves, and go to the secret entrance though there.

Never mind, I've already won the Menhir Hills, now I'm having trouble with the Canopy. That spider's really strong!

I'm playing the PS1 version of the game with ePSXe. Can I perform the moon-jump cheat there?

The secret area doesn't exist in the PS1 version, you won't be able to use it as a shortcut with Moonjump. I don't know if there is a moonjump for the PS1 version, so there might be, and it's just that I'm not aware of it.

As for the spider, you can kill it if you choose, but if it's too much of a problem, just run away from it and get to the end of that section, it won't bother you thereafter.

I have the PC version of Rayman 2 too, thanks for your help.

Ok, I'm having trouble killing it, it's just too strong. And I can't run away from it, it's chasing Rayman.

It's really difficult, I can't go past the Canopy because that spider's too strong.

Yeah, I know it chases you, but you don't need to kill it, just let it chase you, you'll be able to escape it.

Jump a lot. Whenever it tries to attack you, jump out and helicopter back onto the web.

Hm, usually just by constant movement away from it, it's easy to keep away from it, it pauses and stops before it attacks.

Reminds me when I was a kid struggling against the oppressive 6 legged vermin and the aggravating rocket on wheels.

It's not too hard, I've managed to get past the Canopy.

If you think Rayman 2 is hard game then what do you think about Rayman 1? Living Hell?

*Living

Hehe, my younger self would have replied in the affirmative to that. Depends on your skill level, most of us have played Rayman 2 to the point where we could run through the whole thing in our heads, some don't have that experience and skill.

Though, all things considered, Rayman 2 isn't that hard, from what I've played. But, everything has its beginnings, learning how to get to grips with a game also.

Yes, Rayman 1 is even harder! I can't manage to get past Band Land!

But I can't get past The Sanctuary of Stone and Fire because it's difficult for me.
