Project M 3.0 is out!

Because the Smash Bros topic is hard to keep people interested in, and because this project deserves recognition, I'm making a separate topic.
Project M is a LEGAL mod for Super Smash Bros Brawl, that aims to make the game faster and more competitive like Melee was, while also adding it's own unique features and twists. It includes a general tweaking of the game's mechanics to make it faster (and also making techniques such as wavedashing possible once again). It also includes move set changes and general tweaks for all characters (for example, Samus can change between a flamethrower and an ice weapon, Kirby can now use his fire dash from Melee, and Sonic's move set has various new moves that are reminiscent of his move set in Sonic Battle).
As well as this, Zelda, Sheik, Charizard, Squirtle, and Ivysaur have all been separated into their own character slots and have their own down specials now. There are also various new stages for this mod that have not been in Smash Bros before (fun fact - Sky Loft has been in Project M since before the reveal of Super Smash Bros 4!).
New to Version 3.0 - Kirby, Yoshi, Olimar, Ice Climbers, and Samus have finally been added to the roster. Mewtwo and Roy have also been added to the roster, making a desired return from Melee. The first batch of alternate costumes have also been added to some of the characters (such as Ocarina of Time Link for Link).
Probably the biggest new feature of this release though, is the addition of "Turbo Mode". This can be used as a power-up item, or you can use Special Brawl to play matches entirely in this mode. While in Turbo Mode, input for another move can be done the MOMENT you connect an attack, meaning combo potential for all characters is only limited by your own imagination and dexterity.
Further details (including detailed information on what each character is like in this mod) and download details are on the official site for the mod. Please note that, currently, only NTSC users can currently use Version 3.0 legally. NTSC-J users can use Version 2.6b legally (that version does not have all current features, though). You can also run the mod perfectly fine if you play using the Wii U's "Wii Mode". Right now, there is currently no way for PAL users to use this mod legally, but there is an option provided for anyone who has a hacked Wii (it's recommended that you use the legal method if you can, especially if you want to try playing online).
The mod does support online play, however, a second "Wi-Fi Safe" package must be installed when you want to play online (it disables certain features that currently can't work online, as well as preventing you from connecting to players of the official Super Smash Bros Brawl).
