Ludimedia information?

Hi guys,
Some of you have probably hear of Ludimedia.. But there isn't much information about it on the web..
Can someone please enlighten me about Ludimedia?
I've read somewhere that it turned in 1996 into Ubisoft Montpellier

They released Rayman 100 Levels as far as I am aware of.

I think I remember seeing "Developed by Ludimedia" in the credits or on the cover of my PS1 copy of the first game. I've never been clear on its relationship to Ubi Soft and the Montpellier studio.
