Re: Ninth edition of the posts in a day record
Not really feeling it these days. The old Record Days were easier to follow and be a part of, I think.

Haha, well that I can understand. That's often how I feel about the forum generally these days, but I guess that's all just part of the forum's evolution and growing up with it

Re: Ninth edition of the posts in a day record
Technically, Hunch wasn't there for the first two hours because his nap lasted longer than intended. He was a bit pissed off because of that. So no you're notrolesfamily wrote:That's for sure! I still want to see where we've all come though! I'm hoping I'm the top person that didn't do an all-nighter!
And as Master also fell asleep during one hour on his laptop, we could say the same for him as well. He scored almost 3k by the way

Master was also extremely enraged as a consequence.
Either ways, on a technical scale, I guess Roles could be the top complete non-nighter, seeing as Humch and myself did stay up for the most part, having only been felled by the onset of fatigue, that being only for an hour or so.
Still I've learnt from this, need more tea and sleep prior next time.

Re: Ninth edition of the posts in a day record
Yup, doing all nighter twice in a row is particularly hard.
But I did it.
So you also recovered from your last day, huh? I'm curious to know when the other ones come back. Staying awake for around 37/40 hours requires a lot of sleep to recover. I slept 13 hours and I haven't completely recovered...
EDIT :
Although Hunch probably has more accurate DATA, here is the RPC's Post Per Hour (or PPH) for the entire Record Day. I was unable to take the exact number for the 20 and 22 hour mark as I was having some issues with my internet connection :

Thanks for posting that. Interesting to observe the rise near the 12 hour mark...

Eh, the forum today is pretty dead
.
It will be a chaos to read the posts I've missed...

Re: Ninth edition of the posts in a day record
It's always fun to do a name search after the day's finished

Re: Ninth edition of the posts in a day record
Yes, I did it.
I'm going to admit that this year I wasn't really in the mood for the Record Day. I don't know, I wasn't really inspired for a massive posting like in the other years (especially on my first year). It is probably for the fact that with so many people doing simultaneous posting it gets really difficult to follow up everything without spamming or loosing nexus. I really could have done much more posting if I wanted, and the counter would have probably been around the 32000 posts. Oh well, maybe next year?

Saer, can you give me a break? I don't think Master or Hunch would like to be told that they didn't do an all-nighter. They stayed up most of the night, and had a small gap. They did an all-nighter. I'm with Master on this one .

Sorry, I forgot yo uweren't there when we talked about that: we actually didn't give a damn about the fact they weren't there for a hour or so. Master was pissed off but I don't think he cares too much about that at the end. They didn't do an all nighter, but we all know they were there most of the time. You are the one taking my comment too seriously.rolesfamily wrote:Saer, can you give me a break? I don't think Master or Hunch would like to be told that they didn't do an all-nighter.
