PS1 Startup On ePSXe and PCSXR : Any Feasible Solutions?

For such a long time, I've been repeating a cycle of trying, moving on and then retrying many times on getting the full PS1 startup sequence on ePSXe and PCSXR every time a game runs. On PCSXR, I went on the Configuration tab, clicked on the CPU option, then ticked the Slow Boot box, and every time I loaded up a game after doing that simple straightforward process, only the first half of the PS1 startup sequence loads up, leading into the PS1 menu, but on ePSXe, it's a different story. All those lucky people who have actually managed to achieve that on ePSXe, including Haruka, recommend people to create a shortcut of the original ePSXe.exe file, right click on the shortcut, click on Properties, then type in "-slowboot" at the end of the Target field and click on Apply. I simply go through that process, and it comes up with a message saying "The name '.................ePSXe.exe-slowboot' specified in the Target box is not valid. Make sure the path and file name are correct." (those dots "....." I typed previously, represent the part of the message stating the directory of where the ePSXe.exe file is located, as an example). Meanwhile, some others recommend you to create a shortcut of the original ePSXe.exe file, but then rename the shortcut and just replace type in "-slowboot" at the end, which you can actually do that, but then I run ePSXe through the shortcut, try out any random game, and it still doesn't show the full PS1 startup sequence before the opening sequence of the game itself. Now, I'm not having a go at anyone here. I know that those of you who succeeded are doing your best to help but somehow had much better luck with getting it to work for yourselves than you did with helping others, so please don't get offended by what I mentioned before, as you have no reason to be offended whatsoever, since I was actually just gathering all the currently provided solutions together, just to summarize things. If anyone has any legitimate and feasible solutions which will guarantee to get the full PS1 startup sequence running when loading up a game on ePSXe and PCSXR, please provide your new solution for achieving this on either of these emulators, or maybe even both.
Thank you very much for your contribution!

Oh hi COOLPRO195! Nice to see you again ;D
Now first you need to make sure you have a PS1 BIOS installed and loaded. In ePSXe you just need to add the attribue ' -slowboot', so the executable knows you want the full startup sequence to be shown. You can do that either by making a shortcut, batch file, [Windows Button+R], or just simply on the explorer up there at the address bar.
To make things simpler for you. I have uploaded you a batch file that should load ePSXe with the slowboot attribute. Make sure that batch file is in the same directory as 'ePSXe.exe'. Look under my attachments.

Howdy, Coolpro! Good to see you here,
it is odd that you are experiencing problems in making the slowboot to work. Are you sure you have done a space before the hyphen? The space is required.

Hey Omar! The file you sent me actually worked with the PS1 startup! It was quite slow on the first half and quite glitched on the second half with some games tho. The batch file you sent also doesn't show the rest of the sound plugins I have in my plugins folder, apart from the 2 default sound plugins, even to I put the batch file i the exact same directory as ePSXe.exe. How will I add the attribute ' -slowboot' in ePSXe? I would like to make my own shortcut/batch file to see whether it will turn out differently or not.
Hey Haruka! I also tried it with a space before the hyphen and it still didn't work, but luckily Omar has managed to partially solve my problem.
Thanks very much for your help! You're both epic for doing this!

I think it's easier to make just a shortcut. Simply right-click ePSXe and select copy. Right Click again on the the window and select Paste Shortcut. Right-Click that new shortcut you made and select properities. On the first textbox, scroll down to the last letter until you see something like 'ePSXe.exe" ' and add a space and just write '-slowboot'. Click OK and there you have it.

Good to see that Omar's solution worked although it is pretty odd it did not for you by yourself.

Cheers Omar! That solution actually works as well! I suppose nobody else apart from you actually mentioned that you're supposed to type in ' -slowboot' after the closing speech marks with the directory, and not in between ePSXe.exe and the closing speech marks. BTW as for the "missing" extra sound plugins, that was actually just a false alarm. I just didn't have those extra sound plugins in the Plugins folder to begin with, so I downloaded them, then put them in the Plugins folder, and now all plugins show on the original ePSXe.exe file, the batch file you created and uploaded, and my shortcut. Although, I must admit, your batch file actually looks nice in my directory, it fits in quite well.
I know Haruka, it was indeed very odd, until Omar explained the procedure more in detail. However, it's still a mystery to get it working properly on PCSXR, unless it may possibly work if I actually use the same procedure on PCSXR. We'll just have to wait and see...

Well, I've just tried going through the exact same procedure on PCSXR, and it turns out that all it does is automatically tick the Slow Boot box in the CPU menu, and still boots up the PS1 startup screen halfway, leading into the PS1 menu, and even if I untick the box in the new shortcut, it runs games exactly how PCSXR originally would, without the full PS1 startup sequence anyway. It must be harder to actually get it properly working on PCSXR, I suppose. Oh well, at least I managed to get it to work on ePSXe, which was still something I expected to achieve, thanks to both of you!
If anyone has any legitimate and feasible solutions which will guarantee to get the full PS1 startup sequence running when loading up a game on PCSXR, please provide your new solution. Thank you very much for your contribution!
