Welcome fellow members, it's time to celebrate Rayman Pirate-Community's eleventh anniversary this year! This contest will be like last year's, where all the interested candidates may make a piece of artwork representing Rayman Pirate-Community. Grab your pens, pencils, tablets, and any other art tool and start that creative thought train!

We also welcome members to use the forum's upload feature when submitting their entries, it will help keep the images well preserved.

Rules:
1 - Every member in the Rayman Pirate Community can participate.
2 - Usage of multiple accounts is strictly forbidden, and will result in disqualification.
3 - This goes without saying, but keep 'em clean! Offensive or inappropriate entries will be rendered invalid.
4 - Submit entries in this thread, much like in SOTM and Manipulate the Image.
5 - The contestants can send one piece of artwork only.
6 - Stick with the theme.
7 - It would be preferred if your artwork is uploaded onto RaymanPC by its upload feature, but you may use an image hoster still.
8 - The staff reserve the right and means of changing the rules if necessary.

I think I can come up with a cool drawing, but is there a preferences to how we submit the artwork? Like can a hand drawn picture with a 500:250 pixel size compete against a small Windows paint picture that is 150:60 pixels?

So, other contest. I will try to come up with something if a good idea pops up.

Well I'd prefer the resolution to be decent size. At least larger than our signatures.

Okay, then I'll probably snapshot a drawing then, cause colours 3D will not make good pictures. I think I'll draw my favorite thread: Cartoons!

Anyway, this is quite interesting. I can see why we should have one of these for the Tenth Anniversary, but now it seems kind of redundant. Should the subject matter be restricted to events of just the previous year?

Well, it's still a good once a year thing to celebrate RPCs birthday. I think it's a nice thing to do.

Okay, I'm going to see this being looked into then. If you are uncomfortable about the upload feature, feel free to use an image hoster or I can check and see about it being uploaded with out worries of being lost.

Not really good at drawing, so I tried something in Illustrator

Ah, our first entry! I'll add it to the list then.

I'll probably try to do something like what Imco did, because I don't really have stuff here, and I'd rather paint something than only draw something. Because if I draw something, I need to add colours after that, and I can do that well only by painting right now (TL;DR : I don't have a tablet yet, and my painting stuff is in France...shiet).

I currently have all the quotes I wanted for my picture. At least 11 members will be in it and Brad will likely have three lines to match how frequently he posted there.

Yes, I couldn't find a show you very particularly favored (I may do a recheck just to be sure), but I got everyone that stopped by to comment on RD.

Being an all nighter has advantages, and A LOT of drawbacks, one of them being not favoring topics ESPECIALLY if you're hitting the "your messages" button as fast as possible...which I did, unfortunately.

I hope you took some Shrooblord stuff: he actually got mad pretty hard during RD because he was tired as hell.

Yeah, I have shroob qoutes, so I know how to characterize him, but I have no Idea what to draw him like (Beebo44 and S.N.U. as well).

anyway after doing a crumby sketch of this angle I thought of trying, I think I'm going to need to just get some rest and look at the Simpson's couch gag for possible ways of angling everything better.

I always identify people here with either their avatar the first time I saw them, or their first sig at that moment.

Shrooblord : Mr. Dark.
beebo : dunno.

What you can do about Shroob' is drawing a Mr Dark with long, brown hair, and make him look angry and tired at the same time (the "angry eyes with rings under the eyes" trick).

Just an idea though.
