Rayman Pirate-Community

the optimum version is great and all and love it has the designer levels, the fan levels and so on, but, lets be honest, the graphics, the sound effects(specially the ting's) arent as good as the psx and saturn version, and the one track backgorund music is annoying(i have already said that on another thread XD) anyway
but seeing that there are so many fans i though maybe just maybe, this idea could be done, mix the best of every version of rayman 1, in what could be the best rayman 1 game for pc
i dont know how viable it is but it would need some things to get done
first, mod the core game(optimum maybe?) and replace the sprites, animations, backgrounds and sounds(maybe its way more difficult than it sounds but it would be the easiest of all the needed modifications)
replace the intro for the way better psx/saturn one
fix the music timing(really, thats what i hate about all the pc versions of the game)
add the effects that are not on the pc version)
add of the effects that are on the psx version that arent present on the saturn and viceversa as well
check the controls and response, because its quite something
check if the gameplay is as smooth as supposed
check for any bugs/glitches that may appear because of the modification
make the installer
PROFIT
while not as needed as everything else i mentioned, there could be an spanish translation or something(i could do the translation)

Rather a complete rework of the game. It would be - quality-wise - pointless to mod an almost 20 year old game, not to mention how hard it would be. It all depends on whether there are people willing to do the hard work, but the best option would be a remake.
