Welcome fellow members, it's that time of year already! Decorating the house full of lights, ornaments, or even writing that Christmas wishlist for Santa! The prizes are all wrapped up, and ready to be handed out to the winners, and no, they are not full of coal or candy. Just full of beautiful tings! So grab your favorite art tools, whether it be digital or traditional, and draw up your Christmas themed art piece, and maybe enjoy some hot cocoa and snowman cookies while you are at it!

1 - Every member in the Rayman Pirate Community can participate.
2 - Usage of multiple accounts is strictly forbidden, and will result in disqualification.
3 - This goes without saying, but keep 'em clean! Offensive or inappropriate entries will be rendered invalid.
4 - Submit entries in this thread, much like in SOTM and Manipulate the Image.
5 - The contestants can submit one piece of artwork only.
6 - Stick with the contest theme.
7 - The staff reserve the right and means of changing the rules if necessary.

Is the theme Freestyle Christmas or does it have to be specifically Rayman Christmas?

Either way, I'll be doing Rayman Christmas.

Pretty sure it's freestyle, since it's not in the Rayman subforum.

It had better be freestyle. My hypothetical masterpiece is RPC-themed.

Aye, I also plan on doing Rayman-related art. Though I don't wanna do it on my laptop since this machine overheats a lot, especially in the hot Australian Summer weather. The other computer is fine but it's in use a lot today...

You may remember me as Christmish(TM), that loveable(TM) trademarked seasonal character who made occasional posts in the SOTM topic reminding y'all to make sigs and celebrate the relentless passing of time.

Unfortunately, I have nothing to show you! My host has been rather occupied this festive season, ignoring my eldritch whispers in favour of being a productive, healthy human being. Poo, my original idea is unfeasible now. I might possibly be able to salvage this, but I can guarantee nothing. After my grandiose promises, I...

But there is still one thing I can do, and that is remind y'all that there are 5 days left to submit your artistic masterpieces in the Christmas Art Contest and 4 days left in the SOTM! Don't be shy, don't be afraid, for art has no metric other than the soul itself. Whether a seasoned artiste/sign-macqueur or complete novice, I will be anticipating your creations with great excitement.

What is the status of the current work in progress entries?

I've done a foreground and most of the middleground, just have to finish that off and do the background now (so about 50% or maybe just over).
