Not bad at all. Looks like you made ones from Rayman 1, Rayman 2, Rayman 3, and Rayman 4. Amazing.

It is quite a nince beginning. Then only problems are Paint resizing (which is very bad) and their corners.

Unfortunately, Paint doesn't allow cut-out corners or sides.. I made the corners black, because both forums have a black background. But, the sizes (well, most of them) are pretty accurate, I obviously can't tell exactly, but I copied a RZ avatar from it and made one over it.

Well, of course Paint cannot do transparency, but the corners are not like PC avatars'

You should just copy and paste Pirate-Community avatars' corners in Paint and then make the avatar.

Paint would still disallow this.

Unfortunately, that's what Paint is, a basic system for creating designs with nothing fancy. Those avatars, though, are about as good as Paint gets, so nice job.

Yes, you can use effects, transparency and ect. A lot of people use it.

See that topic, Princess Zelda there made sigs with it. Click on each link to each sig she made with the program. Even Phoenixan uses it. I don't.

As I use Paint Shop Pro 7 and Paint Shop Pro X and Photoshop 7.

No problem. This should help you out. Even some other people here at PC may need to know about it if they only have Paint.

I also used to draw avatars with Paint, of course I resized pictures and saved them as GIF with other softwares.

Those are good, xenon! I think ones with the rayman rabbids would be great....but maybe nearer the release date. I really like the grim keeper one.
