So the remasterization of the R3 musics are in the works? :D

You can listen all tracks, they're done, but they're unnamed, and maybe later will be other arrangement of tracks.

I'm not sure what you mean - should I still wait for you to complete your arrangements? If so, any progress update? :)

Means- maybe not all your tracks, made also by me, will be replaced by mine tracks. We will compare, and I will abandon few then.
You have done all arrangements by yourself. Are you waiting for me, before taging all tracks? We can just replace them any time. I have 33 tracks, still I need some time to finish them and compare with yours, then present.

Drolpiraat,
MS_Bg_44khz
I don't know what is it, but my QC in brain says that, better to join 22kHz segments in one track, than mix it with 44kHz. Better to do the separate songs for 22kHz and 44kHz, because it sounds unpleasable now. If it's possible, do two separate files for this song. Thank you.

It's the Bégoniax battle theme from the PS2 version of the game. I had a 22kHz track originally but replaced some segments with 44kHz ones (available in the press kit) for better quality. MR_PlumMrA_01Game is also almost entirely made with segments from the press kit. Both songs sound perfectly fine to me, really. It would be easy to create two tracks for MS_Bg (I still have the original 22kHz track) but I don't really see any reason to change it at the moment.

The last and worst instance of frequency mixing is in MS_Rz_FightB, but even though I'm not entirely happy with it, I think putting it together like I did was the best solution. Having that 22kHz segment in a separate song is too much and will make the whole thing feel less like a soundtrack and more like a segment collection with duplicates. If you have a better solution, let me know. :)

Allright, that's why I asked. Thanks for response.
The solution is... remastering of 22kHz segments. But it maybe in other life.

edit. My arrangemets are done. Now "compiling" and fading.
Half done. Maybe tomorrow will be ready.

Try to assess and choose the best.
Sorry for wav files.
I''ll try to speak out in terms of comparison in future.
Now I can say that, you've splited courious globox on two parts. We don't have additional name for it. So my is one for it.

Hi Droolie. I just noticed that you forgot the song when Razorbeard is overcome and the Grolgoth explodes in this time.

The tune that you mentioned, which plays when the Grolgoth explodes, is part of the track "Staff Roll". But apparently it's called "Main Theme" here, I must be thinking of the names in the soundtrack that comes with the GOG version.
Either way: http://raytunes.raymanpc.com/music/R2/1 ... Escape.mp3 (around 1:52)

Hey, thanks! Those are pretty good, we'll have a hard time deciding between our arrangements :P
As for Curious Globox, I did that on purpose because the transitions at 2:23 and at 3:11 in your track didn't sound very good, and there was no way to combine the segments properly without having those transitions. Now that I listen to it again, the transitions aren't that bad, so perhaps it's a good idea to use your version of it. :)
I don't see why not having a name for it should be a reason not to do it, though (especially since I'm coming up with new names for most tracks).

Ok, just assess and choose the best, I can do it too, and say something in matter of comparison, but honestly, I'm really happy that it's over. I fed up of it...
Meanwhile, second part of songs come:

Enjoy
If you don't have to, try to not touch original names from Killy's rip, because Google know old names, and it can helps with indexing site to find these songs by people.
I'm also still thinking about whether or not to include some of the extra stuff (prefixed with "E_") and all the different Wanna Kick Rayman video tracks (prefixed with "V_WKR_") - one should be enough, right?
But, what is these exactly "with E_" tracks with these commentary? I think that we can leave it alone. It doesn't suits.
But V-WKR_ can be added in extras section on the end. They're nice.

@up guys
If you want to listen it in better quality, most of Credits, contains track named Precipice in my 44kHz soundtrack.
Sounds... delicious. I recommend.

Droolie what do you think about putting my 44kHz version on RayTunes in short additional information leading to my topic? Or in another section with single files. From 2 places I have only 10 downloads, noone knows about it. Some people would be happy.
Regards

Thanks deton24! I can definitely understand you're fed up with it - it's very boring work, and a lot of it. Nevertheless, I'm trying to make it into something worth listening to, so I spent a day working on it today. I worked out which of our arrangements to use and even combined some arrangements to get the best results. I've also started tagging tracks. I am redoing a lot of the naming because the names in Killy's rip often don't match what's happening in the story or official names (for example, "Mecha-Legs" should be "Hoodstomper"), but you'll notice some of Killy's names in there as well. The soundtrack should be finished by the end of the week. ^^

I like the idea of adding your 44kHz soundtrack to RayTunes as an alternative. I'll see what I can do about adding it as a separate section. It depends on how much server space RayTunes has left: after Rayman 3, I still need to add all of the Tonic Trouble soundtracks, the Beyond Good & Evil soundtrack and the official Rayman Legends one, all in both MP3 and FLAC, so we might not have enough. If the server space doesn't allow it, I'll definitely add a link to your thread. And as thanks for having worked on the R3 soundtrack, you'll of course be credited in the R3 section. :)

Well, it has some music that's missing from the game. I uploaded the RO soundtrack for the same reason, but now that I think about it more, perhaps I should wait a little longer. It hasn't been that long since RL was released, and it wouldn't be good if RPC got in trouble for that.

Drolpiraat, I must thank YOU for cooperation, creative brain and programming skills to handle all of this works, without you, it wouldn't be possible. Again, thanks so much, and good luck in your future academical career ;)

PS. You can use program "Mp3tag 2.66", to move track titles from name of files, to transfer it to ID3v2, or and opposite if you need.

What do you think? I personally think that maybe apart from the overdose of "~", these names are much better than the ones in the soundtrack currently on RayTunes. They sound good (to me), they're error-free (I think), and stick closer to the game's progression and/or the feeling of the tracks.

I've also created multiple versions of the album art. As with my Rayman Legends gamerip, the album art changes depending on the world the music is from.
I've also split the soundtrack between 6 discs, but the division isn't visible at all apart from the disc tag, and that the background colour of the album art is different per disc. These are all the album art images I made, in the right order: http://imgur.com/a/10csq

I'd like some feedback on all this, as various other soundtracks on RayTunes have had some bad naming. I want to get it right from the first time now, so if you have time, please scroll through the track list and leave a comment below. :)
