Re: RayTunes™ - The Ultimate Source For Quality Rayman Music!
My jaw dropped.
You've put there lot of work. Thanks.
Maybe we would put second version of UBI logo in extras, but I think, since all tracks are named, there is no sense to edit them more, because it would cause too lot of work again. They're fine. Cover maybe doesn't look bad, but main reason of creating new release of this soundtrack, was unpacking of remastered music version. Maybe cover from R3 HD, or note about it would be enough. Additionally, separate covers for all disks are not as this needed, since not so much people will listen to this from Audio CD's, and this mark takes some space on picture.
But we can leave it alone, it's a next amount of and so large already made work. Thank you Droolpirat.

Well, the new names are definitely better, I can tell it'll be a lot easier for people to find what they're looking for. I was slightly confused by the titles "Sorrowful Feelings" and "Vertigo" though.
The album art is amazing!

Re: RayTunes™ - The Ultimate Source For Quality Rayman Music!
I don't have anything to contest, the ST names sound pretty fine.

Re: RayTunes™ - The Ultimate Source For Quality Rayman Music!
Thanks for all the comments!
I don't think putting the Rayman 3 HD cover would be a good decision though - it's pretty ugly compared to the original. As for the discs, you have a point that not many people will listen to it from Audio CDs. That's why I made it so the track numbering doesn't reveal anything about different discs, but the "disc number" tag and the album art suggest it. Those extra covers are definitely not necessary, but I think they're nice to have.
Thank you! I agree that both of these names can be confusing. I got rid of the "~Sorrowful Feelings~" part (that track is now just named "Moonlit Swamps"). As for the plum theme and its corresponding jingle, I couldn't come up with anything better than "~Obstacle Course~" so I replaced "~Vertigo~" with that. If you have any suggestions for a better name, let me know.PluMGMK wrote:Well, the new names are definitely better, I can tell it'll be a lot easier for people to find what they're looking for. Thanks! I've put the Rayman 3 HD Ubisoft logo in the extras section, and I removed the "(Extra)" from the first song as it's weird to start a soundtrack with an "extra" track. Re-numbering tracks is very easy with Mp3tag, so it wasn't a lot of work.deton24 wrote:My jaw dropped.

Re: RayTunes™ - The Ultimate Source For Quality Rayman Music!
Ok, you're right. But maybe it's worth to write something about quality of music on these covers. With HD cover, I suspected that...

Re: RayTunes™ - The Ultimate Source For Quality Rayman Music!
Ah, that's a good idea. I was going to add that note about the quality on RayTunes, but it could be a nice addition to the cover as well. I'll see if I can add that to the covers without cluttering them.

Re: RayTunes™ - The Ultimate Source For Quality Rayman Music!
The update is here!
@deton24: I added 3 links in total to your Rayman 2 soundtrack topic. At first I had a separate section with the same Rayman 2 logo linking to your topic, but having two different Rayman 2 sections would just be weird, so instead I linked to your topic in the existing one.

These are fantastic news!
Great job guys, I will listen to them when I arrive home!
Re: RayTunes™ - The Ultimate Source For Quality Rayman Music!
Nice job Droolie.
There would be good to add single link to download, for all mp3's in future, somehow.

Re: RayTunes™ - The Ultimate Source For Quality Rayman Music!
I'm just listening to the new soundtrack, and I have to say you did a great job! It's nice to hear the Rayman 3 songs in such good quality put together in that nice a way (better than even the games).
Re: RayTunes™ - The Ultimate Source For Quality Rayman Music!
Thanks everyone!
Thanks! It's because we had the filenames of the segments that we were able to (more or less) follow the original ordering of the music before the programmers re-ordered the music for their own needs.RibShark wrote:I'm just listening to the new soundtrack, and I have to say you did a great job! I agree, I've wanted that for quite some time. The only question is if our current server space will allow every single soundtrack to be uploaded as a MP3 archive as well as separate MP3s. I know our previous server couldn't handle it, but perhaps the current one can. I'll look into it for the next RayTunes update, I guess. For now, I'll just upload an MP3 archive elsewhere and link to it in this topic.deton24 wrote:Nice job Droolie.

Re: RayTunes™ - The Ultimate Source For Quality Rayman Music!
I also was about to ask the same thing as deton: zip archives for MP3 playlists would be usefull too, especially with the release of R3. It would be something good to consider even if it must be done outside of the RPC server.
Re: RayTunes™ - The Ultimate Source For Quality Rayman Music!

Thank you!
I was wondering, do previous albums own a soundtrack cover?

Re: RayTunes™ - The Ultimate Source For Quality Rayman Music!
You're welcome!
I think the Rayman Legends soundtrack was the first one I added a cover to. So all of these have one:Haruka wrote:I was wondering, do previous albums own a soundtrack cover?
- Rayman Legends
- Rayman 1 Jaguar
- Rayman 3
- Tonic Trouble N64
- Beyond Good & Evil
Re: RayTunes™ - The Ultimate Source For Quality Rayman Music!
I also have other question, I think it misses music rips from the RRR TV Party (Symbian and DS). If I remember well there are exclusive musics so maybe it might be worth a peek? For the Wii's case I remember you told it was impossible to extract.
