via "Jdownloader" you can just press ctr+c at every single link, and then start download all files simultaneously from captured links in queue.
Or maybe later I'll upload it.

Here you are:

But it's the enhanced version a little, in matter of quality in comparison to this original release by Killy, but of course arrangement preserved.

Re: RayTunes™ - The Ultimate Source For Quality Rayman Music!
How is it possible to rip tracks from a DS card? I've searched and haven't found anything conclusive.

Re: RayTunes™ - The Ultimate Source For Quality Rayman Music!
Right, I might've found a missing track from Rayman 2. Basically, you know how the N64 version had a different jingle for obtaining the masks (it was upbeat compared to the mysterious jingle in the other versions). Well, the 3DS version of the game actually uses a version of that, but I can't tell if it's a straight rip or not, but if it is it belongs in with the others. Heck, even if it doesn't then it still exists outside of the N64 version which puts it alongside the rest of the tracks in my book.
Re: RayTunes™ - The Ultimate Source For Quality Rayman Music!
Apparently the GBC tracks on RayTunes are missing the drum track. See here and compare it to the RayTunes track.
Re: RayTunes™ - The Ultimate Source For Quality Rayman Music!
Curiousity. I didn't know how great sounds music in PC's Rayman 3 version. Much better than "remastered" audio files by UBI in PS3 HD version. Fortunately, not every track really differ from our version
(but remember about double recompression for YT, may be a culprit of downgrade and some hiss around YT), but these, indeed differ:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bTxLsUNTIsw
better stereophony, more vivid and clear treble, even bass.
I was wrong. 1st Killy rip was not from PC, but PS2 GC. It seems like UBI needed to remaster their own files for HD creating purposes, because they didn't know how files from PC was programmed, so they probably didn't use them because of that. PS3 audio files was remastered PS2 files. They sounds worse than from PC version. I don't think that PS3's ATRAC compression scalped these files so much. Info about remastering on UBI site fits to this history. Base there wasn't PC files for sure. Or it was just not true.
This topic stuck long time ago:

Two daredevils tried to disassemble PC audio format, Sythesis get this files, but couldn't find any form of compression for which a flat signal is coded by value 0x7 to properly decode them.
So maybe UBI couldn't too. Sad.
edit.

Re: RayTunes™ - The Ultimate Source For Quality Rayman Music!
I always found the sound quality of the PC version better than in consoles.
Re: RayTunes™ - The Ultimate Source For Quality Rayman Music!
Well Ubi has the original code for the game, so if the game can convert it, then Ubi can. It is probably possible (though difficult) that the music can be converted by using the game's assembly code (specifically whatever function or functions deal with playing audio) to another format.
Re: RayTunes™ - The Ultimate Source For Quality Rayman Music!
OK. I have more or less accurately compared this two versions and it turned out that PC version is less clear, and also probably different, maybe it's some mix changes, I don't know. But this remastered 32kHz ATRAC files are not so fine too.
To not mess more, mentioned topic seems to be closed for now.
edit. Some tracks sounds better/different in PC version

Yep. It's part of this track which was arranged to match the full track's drums & bass, more or less.

Re: RayTunes™ - The Ultimate Source For Quality Rayman Music!
I have a software that can upscale the sample rate to make sound better a track, and I can have better quality than last Rayman 3 rip.
- *Here's the PC 22050Hz track "Bad Architecture": https://mega.nz/#!bplRDZpR!KCnxY70lAg19 ... xiMx0WI57k
- *Here's the same track upscaled to 44100Hz (it's OGG VBR 128kbps but it has to be 128, not more, that's why it works): https://mega.nz/#!bk1gxBxB!FqvqUAPWE7DG ... 32dngFB-p4
- *And now compare with the RayTunes rip: http://hosting.raymanpc.com/raytunes/mu ... cture~.mp3 (or even the FLAC track)

Re: RayTunes™ - The Ultimate Source For Quality Rayman Music!
You've unpacked music from PC version by extractor in other topic?
What is your software?
Comment says that it is processed by SoX.
Could you provide some details?
Really nice work.
Is that an only one option, is it automatic processing, and result file, or you had to set something more? What's the option?
It's nothing new that those PS3 files sounds, let's say average...
I'm a little disappointed how sounds raw PC file. Id say that in game it may sound better.
I think that PS2 R3 music file may provide even better quality. Maybe Droolie may give us some segments. But arrangement will take some time. I probably have around 30-35 percent of ready templates for those wav files.
I'll say more about mastering of this processed file later.
UBI is not master of remastering.
I've heard their their version of music of SC Pandora Tomorrow HD, comparing with 36 kHz PS2, and I was woeful in few moments.
If I'd have better equipment, even I'd do this better

Re: RayTunes™ - The Ultimate Source For Quality Rayman Music!
In fact, it seems PS3 version is 32kHz instead of 48kHz (raytunes rip is encoded at 48kHz), so! I tried to take PC version that uses 22.05Khz and try to put it at 44100 with the sample rate upscaler, and then convert it to OGG 96 kbps VBR to make it sound better because I don't know how to say this, but it doesn't sound "natural" with 44100, and I have to convert it to low quality to retrieve the "natural" sound. I will test this sample rate upscaler with PS2 & GC to see if I can have better quality. Also, any options to rip Original Xbox? I think it can be interesting to rip it from the first time.
Edit: Listen completely to Bad Architecture on RyaTunes and my track, wtf? There are problems of playing

Re: RayTunes™ - The Ultimate Source For Quality Rayman Music!
You don't know what you want. Before doing the R3 rip you pointed me to the PS3 version for it having better quality, and I posted the segments of both the PS2 and PS3 versions to compare. You said to go ahead with the PS3 rip as it sounded much better, but now you're saying it sounds average.deton24 wrote:It's nothing new that those PS3 files sounds, let's say average...

It's encoded at 48kHz because it was encoded at 48kHz in the game, and some segments do contain frequencies up to 48kHz (take a look at 025 - Ascending the Waterfall for example). But yes, it seems the target of the remaster was 32kHz rather than 44kHz, maybe exactly because of this "natural" sound you're talking about. However, converting it to a low bitrate OGG file is a terrible idea if you're trying to sell your soundtrack for its quality, as I tried to tell you using PM a while ago.TheMygoshi wrote:In fact, it seems PS3 version is 32kHz instead of 48kHz (raytunes rip is encoded at 48kHz), so! No, that would not be the first time.TheMygoshi wrote:Also, any options to rip Original Xbox? I think it can be interesting to rip it from the first time.
Yeah... all versions of R3 have this problem, sadly. It's not bad segment ordering either, it looks like the development team used a corrupted source file.TheMygoshi wrote:Listen completely to Bad Architecture on RyaTunes and my track, wtf? There are problems of playing
Re: RayTunes™ - The Ultimate Source For Quality Rayman Music!
I will not re-do a rip of this game. You and Deton24 worked a lot for the new rip, but I'm just sharing new things ^^
And no it's not a terrible idea to convert to OGG VBR 96, because it takes less space and it sounds better (yeah normally it's wrong but in this case it works). Also, OGG is better than MP3 at low bitrate.

Re: RayTunes™ - The Ultimate Source For Quality Rayman Music!
The fact that low-bitrate OGGs sound better than low-bitrate MP3s has nothing to do with this; you're losing data by converting to a lossy format. If it makes it sound better to you, that's fine, and it's good that you shared this trick for others -- I just don't like that you're saying it is better quality, because it is not.TheMygoshi wrote:And no it's not a terrible idea to convert to OGG VBR 96, because it takes less space and it sounds better (yeah normally it's wrong but in this case it works). Re: RayTunes™ - The Ultimate Source For Quality Rayman Music!
Ok. I checked PS2, it is bad compared to PC. Do you have a script to extract & name tracks for PC version? Your RayAudio only have a ray3_ps2.bms. Do you have a ray3_pc.bms? Thanks.
