Hmm... those segments were rather unprocessed before uploading them by Drolpiraat when I was joining them.
I didn't noticed anything appearing in places of transition between segments then. Everything was seamless.
Or it just can't be hearable, and it only looks in DAWs like that. I'm not sure wether it really depends on transitions of segments.

PM Drolpiraat. He spoke before about some segments which he trimmed with GC version pattern with script and they were good and seamless. But I don't remember whether it was PS3 or PS2 version of segments
Now this link is dead, and I no longer have them. Whole account has been taken down shortly after upload PS3 segments or done new HD soundtrack. Looks like UBI was pissed off xD
But why not to upload it on some cloud, not paid hosting or new, clean if needed. Even by DLC link. I have a files on cloud in this form with password and encrypted name for very, long time

Here's Searching for Globox from GC version (22.05) upscaled to 44.1 without any noises : https://mega.nz/#!u4cGHQ6D!JWEQrv0N1-16 ... 8eaAMJJy1M

And now compare with the one in the OST. Worse quality and a lot of noises between segments. What do you think? I have the time to make this to all the files.

Wow, really? That's pretty awesome if true, even if it's only the tracks that he composed. Will he upload it himself on his site or did he send the tracks to you?

By the way, I forgot to mention this here, but I started work on a new version of RayTunes 1.5 month ago, though I was forced to stop working on it a week later since my laptop's CPU fan died and the local service center broke part of the laptop trying to fix it - so it's still being repaired even now. :/
You can preview what I had after only a week of work here: http://hosting.raymanpc.com/raytunes/test/
A lot of features still have to be coded in, like playlist functionality, adding songs to the playlist in batches, FLAC downloads, the news box, etc.
You might also notice that some songs in the R3 and R1 soundtracks don't load, seeing as the tracklists are from updated versions of the soundtracks that I wanted to upload along with the new site (and with kooz's Tonic Trouble rip). January will be quite busy for me but look forward to seeing the new site and soundtracks in February! :)

Holy moly, you've redecorated and I sure do like it. I can't wait to see that in action. Tough luck on your laptop, I do hope that gets fixed soon.

Nice, minimalistic, colourful design. Playlist! Cool
I like it

Just for now I can say that there are very small icons of choosing game on my smartphone (FHD)

And still, I think it would be useful to give link to previous version of site.
Here it is:

For me also fan on PSU stopped working properly few days ago. I sympathise.

But I would never give to repair anybody... xd

Mygoshi, that's definitely interesting.
We should send you to Mr Chevalier too ;)

...but he not responds to emails

Wow, that lookd absolutely gorgeous! :D I feel though, due to it being bright blue, it's creating a bit of a mood bias. Something maybe a bit darker and with a lot more colour variation sweeping across the design I think would work better for a music player/site per se, as it would allow us to accentuate different patches of the site in our head depending on the mood of the track.

Functionally, the only thing I might recommend changing at the moment is to not have the buttons all the way on the right side of the track list, because with how it is currently, you have to keep altering your visual focus to read the track names and make sure your mouse is in the right place for button-clickery. If one of them is a play button, I'd probably have it directly to the left of the track name.

Making the site work on smartphones is indeed one of the things I still need to work on. It should be a one-column layout there, probably with the audio player and a playlist toggle button in the footer. Don't worry, it will look fine when it's finished. ;)

The new site will replace the current site, but it will have everything the current site has: direct download links for every song, FLAC downloads, stuff like additional credits and links. all that will be added before the update, but let me know if there was anything else that was better on the old site. And let me know if you have an idea for a feature you'd like to see on the new site too :)

Also, good luck with your PSU fan! I hope that's a desktop computer - much easier to open up and replace then. I usually do that for my desktop too, but laptops are a lot trickier so I had hoped a repair center would do that for me. That was a huge mistake.

Thanks! I don't know about darker though - I like dark sites/music players a lot too, but Rayman is a lighthearted franchise (or has been lately) so with that in mind, I tried to find a middle ground between dark and bright, and this is the result. I also feel adding more colors would be a bit too much for the look of the site. Perhaps a "turn off the lights"/dim function or a choice between different themes would solve this? I also thought about a visualizer at first, but adding that would be pretty hard...
Good point about the buttons though. I'll test how it looks with the buttons before the track name once I actually get the buttons done :D

Multiple themes would be nice - what if each game used a different background and colour scheme, and it chose the theme (with a nice fade transition) based off the track currently queued?

if!!! not yet suggested: a player so we can turn on a game's soundtrack instead of selecting individual tracks?

Sounds easy enough, so I'll do it. Track-based theme switching would be optional though, since people switching games a lot will quickly get tired of that :P

Adding whole soundtracks to the playlist is planned :)

It's looking really good so far! Since some games have a lot of tracks, like Rayman 3, perhaps you could plit them up between several tabs, perhaps for the different worlds in the game? I'd also really like some "download all" feature, which is currently only present for some of the games in RayTunes. I also agree that having the background change depending on the song playing would be nice.
Btw, regarding official high quality songs and all, how are the ones which come with the GOG versions? Also something I've always wondered, where do the actual names come from? Did you just make them up or are they from the files?

R2 GOG soundtrack is just copied Synthesis' files extracted from PC version. PS2 is more complete, DC line-in sounds better for me, beeing still very completed, PSX quality sounds the best, and at least some of my remasters from various versions

Thanks!
For the world images, they'll be in the album art when you play the song, but in the track lists I think I'll just add a smaller, recognizeable icon (eg. a note for Band Land, a yin-yang for Picture City, etc.) in the columns so that it's easy to distinguish which world they're from.
Download all is available for FLAC versions and I don't think it's possible to do the same for the MP3s (since they're stored as separate files), but it's something I also want so I'll definitely see what I can do with the dark power of javascript.

The GOG versions are copies from existing rips (see deton24's post above).
I come up with most of the track names myself based on the filenames, e.g. if the original filename has a reference to "STAR" in it, and I know the track is used in a sliding section, I might transform that into "041 - The Celestial Slide". :)
For most of the recent rips you can find that original filename in the Comment tag of the MP3/FLAC file.

Couldn't you create separate zip files to download where you added all the tracks from a game?

Oh, I thought the GOG soundtrack was actually the official soundtrack which Ubisoft gave them. Well, that's rather disappointing that they simply copied rips from the internet, and even has it being incomplete (Rayman 3 is missing a bunch of tracks).

I definitely could, but that'd mean adding MP3 zip downloads for every single game, which I might do, but it's possible that I won't be allowed to store that much extra data on the server. I'll have to ask Hunch first.
