Re: Please introduce yourself here
It seems that I haven't had the manners to grant you a proper introduction, Globolk.
Welcome, to the Rayman Pirate Community, as fellow member, Master4lyf1 (Soon to be Master, if things go right), allow me to explain to you the perks of being a member.
Now, obviously we've conversed before, so I don't think a formal introduction of myself is in order, and it seems you've learnt the Golden Rule, so we'll skip that.
Anyway, I usually recommend newbies to get out there and add their voice, however, it is most encouraging to see that you've started already, it is weird to welcome newbies who introduce themselves then vanish to kingdom come.
You're also aware of our RayWiki, maintained by some of the most knowledgeable Rayman fans here, and unlike some other Wikis, only member can edit it, so you can rest assured to know that non of our data is complete nonsense stemming from the brain of someone who has no clue what they're on about.
Finally, there's also the not-so-functional RayTunes, the largest archive of Rayman music on the internet, though some soundtracks on the page are broken, the founder of the facility, Droolie, has kindly uploaded the soundtracks in alternate form, so you can still download your favourite Rayman musics one way.
Though it isn't put up on the portal yet, user Robotic Teensie has recently opened the RaySaves facility, you can find out more in the relevant thread: http://www.raymanpc.com/forum/viewtopic ... 23&t=10086.
Anyway, I hope your time here proves to be fruitful, and the conversations intriguing.

I am the Great OldClassicGamer but you can call me either OrudoKurashikkuGema-Sama or OCG. As my name says, I am a big fan of Classics, and Rayman 1 is of course one of them. I play all games but mostly Platformers. I have a YouTube account, that you can check by clicking on mozile sign under my Rank. I would like if you could subscribe on my channel and support my content. I hope I will have a great time here because so far, this place is awesome.

Re: Please introduce yourself here
I guess this is the Japanese translation for OldClassicGamer with the suffixe -sama proper to this language.

Meh, it'd be wrong for me to traditionally introduce you here, since you've practically settled in, and I don't want to be condescending.OldClassicGamer wrote:I am the Great OldClassicGamer but you can call me either OrudoKurashikkuGema-Sama or OCG. So, hey there OCG, Master here to inform you of what else you can do on this forum.
We have a Rayman wiki maintained only by the members here, who are naturally knowledgeable of the franchise, as such, you can be rest assured that the information on the RayWiki is genuine, and not blatant falsehoods you may see in other dedicated wikis.
We also have the RayTunes facility, it has musical pieces from many Rayman games, provided to us by Droolie.
So, I'd give you my hopes to enjoy your time here, but I'm guessing you already are, so, I guess I'll just say that I hope you continue to enjoy your time here, and thanks for adding your voice to this great community.

I saw one two things that are missing from RayWiki. Japanese releases of Rayman Origins and Japanese release of Rayman 3.Master4lyf1 wrote:Meh, it'd be wrong for me to traditionally introduce you here, since you've practically settled in, and I don't want to be condescending.OldClassicGamer wrote:I am the Great OldClassicGamer but you can call me either OrudoKurashikkuGema-Sama or OCG. Feel free to add to the Wiki, being a member here automatically makes you a member there.

Re: Please introduce yourself here
Is it hard to do that? I was never good at wiki's.Master4lyf1 wrote:Feel free to add to the Wiki, being a member here automatically makes you a member there.

I'm not a regular editor at the Wiki, I add things now and then, but I don't think I could impart sufficient advice to aid you.
Try asking Haruka, she's a major contributor and could probably help you out a lot more than I could.

I'm not what you might consider a 'regular' contributor, but I do edit things now and then; I usually add take screenshots and add images.
Just make sure to write in full, proper grammar - as professionally as you can -, never allow any sort of bias whatsoever affect your typing, and always be concise. Don't ramble, write clearly and concisely. Also, don't forget to link to other in-universe things if you mention them. It isn't necessary however to link to another object if it has already been linked to before in the article.

@OCC Everybody is welcomed to contribute to the RayWiki. You can read some of our articles to have an idea about the used writing style. Of course, it isn't a bad idea either to read the Manual of Style: http://www.raymanpc.com/wiki/en/Help:Manual_of_Style
If you have got any questions concerning the articles themselves, the use of the wiki, or other relevant subjects, you can also write us something in the Talk page from our userpages in the wiki.
