(I hope it’s too late for me to introduce myself, considering I have been lurking around here for more than half a year, and quite a lot too for that matter and I never said a word. I have been thinking of introducing myself here for months now, but I’ve just been feeling too awkward to start posting lol but I need to get over that ‘’fear’’ now. )

I’m Equinox (which is the name for a Rayman fancharacter of mine) and I’ve been a Rayman fan since December 2011.
Actually, I knew Rayman since my childhood, but I forgot about him for many years until I saw a trailer for Rayman Origins back in fall 2011, which made me remember Rayman again. Therefore I wished to get a 3DS with Rayman 3D for my birthday, which I got!
When I had played Rayman 3D I knew that I had to get Rayman Origins, and so I did for Christmas that year. And bam – I was hooked!
It was great to be re-introduced to the series as I have great memories with the trilogy from my childhood. I remember playing Rayman 1 and 2 with my second cousin ( and it still amazes me how my second cousin got past Band Land at like age 8 or something lol) and I also remember getting the Rayman 3 Demo in a cereal package back when it was new, I remember that me and another cousin would play the Funkyboard level for a very long time, we never got tired of it!

So, I have been in the ‘’fandom’’ for a while, but I never got to know other people who has Rayman as an interest so hopefully that will change now! I have done several, but now old, Rayman fan art at my old deviantart account as well, GhostieShadow – if anyone wants to see. I have a few photos of my Rayman collection there too. But of course they are also outdated now.

So, you've rediscovered the series, have you? Hm, I was rather zealous about the series in my younger years, even in the years when Rayman faded into obscurity, I still maintained a eye on it in hopes of a revival, so when Origins was announced, I wasn't really reminded about anything, I just rejoiced that the long wait had ended.

Hm, yeah, I thought your name looked familiar, I see you've registered here some time ago, nice to see that you've decided to join our merry band. I'm sure you've checked out all of our other facilities too, hm? Be sure to get involved, the members here don't bite, they love to hear from like folk.
