I haven't ridden a bike in some time either, mostly because I'm having to travel a lot and my bike was left in Ireland. I don't even know if it works anymore at this point, and if I was going to have one, I'd probably have one over here for Summer instead.
Guilty also. I really hate when you just know you forgot something, and you can't think of what it is until it's too late and then it hits you like "AH that's what it was!". I can't tell you how many times this happens to me, even at the store. It's just annoying because I'm even so aware as to know I did forget something and that I'll remember it when it's too late, even at the time.
Ever walked into a room to do something, then completely forget why you walked in?
I swear you left everything in Ireland, dude.
Yes, it's happened a lot, even for simple things. I know my mom's had that happen to her too, my co-workers, I think we all are helpless sometimes.
Ever post a similar question in a game thread because you legitimately forgot you've already asked it in the past week?

Yeah, that's part of what happens when you go to another country apparently. I only brought the bare minimum, such as my entire PC by taking all the components down to their bare-bones and bringing them through the airport.
Guilty, and I was literally just about to do it the other day again until I had a "wait, didn't I already ask this" moment.
Weirdly, I have a really good memory and recollection of events, but for some reason I can never remember that I already told a person something 10 times.
Ever got fed up with a person reminding you to do something over and over, yet you still manage to forget do to it despite all the nagging reminders?
Guilty, but that's maybe what I call going to sleep . What happened to me when I was younger is deciding to take a nap after a big party at 4pm and waking up at 9pm so confused that I thought I've just slept like 16 hours
Ever got drunk on Christmas Eve in front of your family?
Hecking corrector, it corrected it to "tree" instead

Innocent, I don't really drink that much when it comes to wine, beer and all that. Even if I do, I only drink a glass or two and that's that. Don't think I've ever been flat-out drunk, the closest I've ever gone to that stage was merely being tipsy.
Have you ever been scared by Halloween decorations?
(sorry goop i just didn't want to answer that question )
Always be true to yourself. Sigs by Steo and R4Y_ANC3L

To be honest I haven't drank any alcoholic beverages in my life still. I don't plan on doing so either.
I'm innocent on that one, since I really haven't. I just can't handle / stomach gore is the main thing.
Though have you ever setup Christmas decorations before Halloween ever comes?
Innocent. Basically I've never decorated my house for Halloween. We reunite together (some of the friends have some cool outfits, some don't), we have some drinks and that's all. It's also a good excuse because on November the 1st we have the All Saints' Day and we don't go to work/study that day, so we can stay together 'til late

Ever forgot to decorate your house for Christmas?
Guilty, since a lot has been intentionally forgetting due to laziness.
I mean sure, I love the decorations, but the more you put up, the more you have to take down, my problem is not wanting to take down the decorations.
Have you ever fixed Christmas lights and were successful?
Innocent. As we don't decorate outdoors and the Christmas lights are cheap, it isn't really worth it to take time fixing them. Also, I don't think I could really fix them, I wouldn't have any idea where to start
I have been guilty of fixing those lights several times, though it's always so hit and miss. When the bulbs don't fail as a short it's so irritating trying to diagnose the issue.

Ever been in a Christmas chorus?
I think innocent on this. I have tried caroling, but I don't think I've ever actually being in a choir for it. It sounds like it would be fun though, even if I'm a bad singer.

Knows how to play an instrument?
Guilty. I can play Guitar and piano at the very least, though I'm probably rusty at this point because I don't get to play often where I am. I need to get myself a guitar over here, and maybe a musical keyboard or something. I do get to play the piano at my gf's parents though.
Have you gotten to the point yet where you're happy with socks as a Christmas present?
Guilty on several occasions. One time I even found a missing phone down the back of a loose skirting board, and there have even been times where I put something away then didn't realise I was "sensible" enough to put it in an obvious place like that, hence I overlooked it.
Ever broken a mirror and really thought you were going to have 7 years bad luck?
Innocent, but I had that same thought every time a black cat crossed in my way when I was younger. There's a curious story regarding that... I was on my way to do my first exam ever at the university (it was the final exam of physics, probably one of the hardest of the first year) and a black cat crossed into my way before getting in the university. I'm not the kind of person with those thoughts anymore, but that wasn't what I really wanted to happen before a very important exam. In the end I had a 9.5/10, so for the rest of the year I was crossing fingers to see a black cat every time I had an exam
Probably, when I was younger… Like one Halloween evening seeing someone's face reflected in the car window in a really weird way, in the scotopic illumination of the car interior… At the time I couldn't convince myself that it wasn't a ghost…
Also guilty to being scared by Halloween decorations. When I was about five or six, our regular supermarket went really overboard, with what I think was a statue of the devil in the fruit section. We avoided that section until it was all over. Tbh I probably still would
Steo wrote: ↑Fri Dec 08, 2023 2:56 pmIreland Dublin isn't that big, so we don't really need a car for the most part to get from A to B, especially because we lived pretty much close to everything.
Fixed that for you
Has over an hour commute each way every day?

I suppose that's very true. Down the country it's probably not as easy as I'm making it out to be.
Innocent at the moment, but I don't know where the future will take me. Chances are I'll be working in programming but that doesn't mean I won't have to go to an office I suppose.
Ever had an instance where the public transport you were relying on didn't show up or left you stranded (such as a bus not showing up)?

Well, I don't know if it's more or less than an hour (depends on how fast I go), but yes, it's around that time (30min going + 30min coming back home). I'll say it's the calmest time of the day; however, I don't know if spending €40/week is the best for me...

Innocent. Even if it was late, the public transport always showed up.
Ever had to speed up significantly to get on time to work?
