What a shame, the image is gone and I don't have the image anymore and it mysteriously disappeared from the background the last time my computer got a BSOD and crashed. For now, I've decided to use the image that I entered in my first MTI contest, but I'll change it later when I have another image that i like.

Or me when I start manipulating images and my desktop looks like that temporarily.

Also yeah, my screen used to be almost completely taken up with icons when I was younger, but then again the screens were a very low resolution back then.

This is my desktop, had to censor some file names though

and its qualety sucks because it was to big

Here's mine lately because I'm using Debian. It's not organised that neatly, but it's certainly better than my desktop often looks on Windows.

What is it about switching to Linux that makes people less inclined to clutter their desktops!

I don't know, but there definitely seems to be some kind of trend.

I hope it's not a problem if I bump this thread for right now, but here's one of my current wallpapers which I have set since I think it's pretty funny.

Not too much different than it used to be, except now I use Gentoo, a dark theme, and I don't even bother putting anything on the desktop.

Recently, I changed my wallpaper and set a color accent to match the wallpaper.

Nice wallpaper! Back in the day I used to have a lot of anime wallpapers, but I don't use them anymore.

I think I need some new wallpapers… I've had the same ones for about five years now I'd say! I have a little script that changes it randomly every five minutes, but the list itself is fairly short… It's mostly ones downloaded from GOG related to games in my library
