Since im new here and since i love Psychonauts videogame, i want to ask a question i've been asking in all my registered forums - what do you think about Psychonauts and do you like it??

I have never heard of it, maybe you could tell us about it

I love it. Finished it three times. And I'm more of a finish-it-and-move-on kind of guy....

Ok, Psychonauts is the game created by Tim Shafer (one of the greatest game creators)... In this game you're playing as a boy named Razputin a.k.a. Raz (the boy from my sig), he's a boy with special mental abilities, that is forsed to be a circus acrobat by his father. One day, after the show, a mistyrious person gives him a "panflet" (i dont know how to spell it right). From that day foward, Raz began to explore the wonderful world of Psychonauts ( Psychonauts is actually an organization of mentaly-gifted people, who's mission is to defend the world from mental terrorists). And Raz finds out that there's a summer camp, called "Whispering Rock Psychic Summer Camp", which techicaly is a training facility for from-5-to-10-year-old "psi-cadets". One night Raz sneaks from circus to get in camp... its just a first part, thought that you'll get bored of a whole 2-paged story... so, to be continiued... if you dont want just tell me...

The story sounds interesting, but what does the game consist of?

First you have minimum psychic powers such as double-jump and psychic ground smash, but the higher your rank, the more psi-powers you get, for example pyrokinesis, telekinesis, levitation, invisibility, psi-shield and more... and i forgot to tell the most important thing... the are two groups of worlds - real worlds and mental worlds... mental worlds exists in our mind, like our own little universe... and in the game, every mental world is a unique one... you have to travel in different peson's mental world such as the teachers of the camp and near by asylum's mental pacients... along the game you'll discover so much interesting... and by the way... the game is almost free-roaming... thats what makes it more interesing to play... trust me, the guy's worked on it for 4 years, you'll love it!!!

They can make nice games and nice shoes, as long as games do not smell like shoes.

You should try, there are tons of black humor, such as - when i have to use my telekinesis on the trashcan to hit an enemy with it, and when i did that, Raz is saying - "looks like that trash took HIM out"... get it??

or... the dialog with Raz and Bobby Zilch (camp bully)

R: Hey Bobby, you have to help me, someone's stealing kids brains!!!
B: Well, in that case, you have nothing to worry about!!!!!

Well, it could be not funny, but i just wrote those which i remembered...

Really, I do. I love platformers, and unfortunately, not many except for Rayman are available on a PC.

It's actually a company that took the place of a building that used to house a shoe company.

Do you have to register so you can download the demo?

I don't think so... ^^; There's other sites where you can get it too if they tell you that you have to register.
