Hi, ummm...

I have Halo: Combat Evolved for PC as I don't have an Xbox.

I can beat the living S**T out of people that play me on Halo 1.

So, I decided to get Halo 2, but I can't find it AYWHERE!!

Does anyone know where I can Get one?

Halo 2 will be for Vista and it will be released sometimes soon.

Butt it doesn't matter because Halo2 is gonna be for Vista, and it isn't out yet.

Halo 2 PC is Windows Vista (DX10) exclusive. Unlike Combat Evolved for PC, it's being updated to Halo 3's engine apparently.

Yeah, disappointing since I ain't getting that Vista stuff (Vista Business would be my choice if I had to get it, though I hope to get XP Professional x64 for the gaming desktop.), though if I would get it, I'd have it on Xbox. (I think Halo's better on Xbox.)

I hope that this is gonna be a good port, because the acuracy on the pc version of halo is really bad compared to the xbox version.

Halo really isn't the best shooter though... especially on PC domain. The graphics are a disappointment to a lot of people because it's XBox 1 native, and really, the XBox 1 graphics weren't up to date at all for PC when they ported the game over.

I'm getting Windows Vista, just because I need it for future work... plus I want to be able to buy new games. DirectX 10 is also Vista exclusive, so any new game after Vista will be exclusive to it anyways... like Halo 2.

Now now, I never said Vista was crap, I just said I wasn't getting it because I don't want it. (I'm fine with the current games out.)

You can get menu transparency with windows vista.
