He already gave the source code of the demo, if it would be ported to pandora, it is a job for yoyogames

The game is written in Game Maker -_-

But there is even port of Asteroids to GM, right? Why it wouldn't work the other way?

It would, but it would be way too hard for me. I didn't even know Pandora was a programming language until you told me. Is it even a programming language? Because I can't find anything about it...

Nope, it is a console. <shot>
But I said this would be great experience for talented Pandora programmer. Make just PC version, if you're not interested in others.

Ooooh, that!

Thanks for the i- UERGH! Mind where you shoot, okay? -_-
But if I'd port it to anything, it'd be XNA. That way, it can be played on both Windows and Xbox 360.

Don't pay for this thing! Use Allegro + C++ instead and invade Mac OS X, Linux, DOS and a few other thingies!

C++ of course, but doesn't XNA use C++?
But I would gladly pay for XNA, because then, I'd be able to play and download way more games on my XB360. ^^
And Yoyogames is porting Gamemaker to Mac ( and others ). So it shouldn't be too hard to make a Mac ( and others ) version as soon as that port is finished.
Anyway, porting is not something we should discuss yet...

About the port, yoyogames can't port Game Maker to Mac because Lazarus is still not advanced enough to do it
Well, first ask a Mac user to save it as * .dmg :wink

Maybe if you end the game 100% you would unlock a section called the lost levels.

Firstly, let him release normal version. If he would have not idea what to do next, ask for "scrapped levels addon". That's all.

They should both be seperated, one beta release and one final release, if you're putting in everything from the beta the game would be to big ( in matter of file size ofcourse

)

Uh, well... probably, I'll just release the normal version of the game and then, if you really want it, an edited version of one of the early builds.

What do you mean? They have videos and word of internal alpha testing going on in the official blog. :\ It's just not ready to release because of a few bugs here and there that they have to fix.

They still can't debug the whole program, but both the creators of Lazarus and Game Maker are working on it

[Monty Python]And now for something completely different![/Monty Python]
In case you want to know what I have been doing since my last post... well, I made the form abilities, the form changing, improved the FiToon graphics ( yeah, I still had the old design for that form XD ), I made a better dialogue system, improved the font, and... I did the helicopter upgrades. =D
This is what I still have to do for the next demo ( counting down ).
10. Powerups ( Gold Fist, P Power, Little P Power, Extra Life ) - EXTREMELY EASY
9. Proper Dying & Hurt Animations for both above and under water surface - NOT VERY HARD
8. More Enemies - HARD
7. Bubbles in the Water + Breathing Meter - NOT VERY HARD EITHER
6. Cages System ( 5 per level ) - NOT VERY HARD
5. The First Level ( The Sanctuary of Harmony and Peace ) with Boss and Cutscenes - HARD, AND WILL TAKE [Portal]A VERY, VERY LONG TIME[/Portal]
4. A Demo Cutscene - NOT VERY HARD
3. A Better Menu - NOT VERY HARD
2. A Pause Menu - NOT VERY HARD
1. An Online map, possibly? - HARDER THAN NOT VERY HARD BUT STILL... NOT VERY HARD ( so it's harder than itself??? o_O )
...And then...
OMG DEMO RELEASE! ^^

OMGOMGOMGOMG...
...wait. THEN.
9. Proper Dying & Hurt Animations for both above and under water surface - NOT VERY HARD
Isn't it possible to use something like alpha channel water instead?
5. The First Level ( The Sanctuary of Harmony and Peace ) with Boss and Cutscenes - HARD, AND WILL TAKE [Portal]A VERY,
VERY LONG TIME[/Portal]
Need ideas for objects? Ask Stan! You'll be surprised by their lack of creativity, problems in their implementation, and the most noticeably - their weirdess.
