No, it's not that, the level is already made on paper, but I need to code it and make graphics for it. :P

And... what do you mean with alpha channel water?

I simply don't understand why have you gotta make COMPLETELY new sprites (or recolored ones) of everything in water.

... I didn't make any new sprites for underwater. The water uses alpha, but alpha channel is something different.

Alpha channel is channel containing alpha, same as red channel contain red.

Maybe, but I almost never use the 'channel' word in that case. :P

But why are you asking that, isn't it obvious that I use water with alpha? XD

Just a little question : will there be a lava way where you can drive on with a plum. That would be cool :D

It would be harder anyway if after a minute plum would get burnt.

I really wouldn't like that concept. It's already hard enough in the underlands in Rayman 3 GBA to keep flying instead of falling in the torns -_-

Because of controls. If Voltie would automatically grab plum in hands, and plum would be jumping (a'la R2), and arrows would TURN the plum, it would be not that hard. In R3GBA, it acted as with water, but it was harder because of ceiling.

Yes, there will be lava at the end of the Blue Mountains ( won't spoil where exactly, because you might think lava would be strange on the snowy peaks... ) and in the Caves of Skops. The plum floats normally, but I think that I will make it jump if the lava stream goes down really fast. The moving system is a little different though. You have to punch the plum to make it move, even when it's in the water/lava.

Simple answer: no. Doing that with your fist wouldn't work as good as shooting energy balls, like you did in R2.

You could let the plum move automaticly in flat water  That's not to hard to make, i assume.

In that case you could make that the water goes really fast and you have to jump over long cliffs :hinhinhin:

Or you can set 4 flying spiky pirate things ( those gray ones from Rayman 3 GBA ) in a row on the lava ride :hinhinhin:

No, but I'll make vertical rows with spiky things and the plum will have to go through them, but you too, and the gaps are small, so you will have to crouch. :hinhinhin:

Or you could make a lava fall and at the end set magma. The plum falls in it and so does the unexpecting Rayman :hinhinhin:

There's no Rayman in this game. XD
But maybe I'll do that, but then I'll put some signs just before the lava fall saying "JUMP!" or "WATCH OUT!" or something. Great idea. Thanks. ^^

EDIT -> I just finished all the powerups. They're quite nice, especially the gold fist. =D
I still have to do all this before I release the next demo.
9. Proper Dying & Hurt Animations for both above and under water surface - NOT VERY HARD
