80 gig is like 30,000 songs, isn't it?

A Turtle Beach Riveria PCI sound card using my Cyber Acoustics two-speaker set. (I don't need surround sound; I'm usually wearing headphones anyways.)

I'm just using a dell sound card. It's quite a stock sound system.

I think yours may be SoundMax also... a lot of dells, and all the dells we had, has used Sound Max audio. Default, onboard audio. My old dell does, my mom's dell does, my dad's business Dell does... my best custom built PC has SoundMax onboard too. Works well.

I will get a new sound system soon. I will need a few decent speakers anyway, for my music creation on Cubase.

I had to pick "other" because, to tell the truth, my speakers are completely intergrated in my ASUS display, model PG191 and I love it:

Well, I'll only get something if it's excellent. There's no point in cheaping out, even if money is tight like mine is; simply save up for a while until you have enough to get the thing you want.

Well, I agree, but I still worry about money when buying something, so I have to make a few compromises. For instance, I wanted a Xeon or i7 Extreme processor in my desktops instead of the Core i7-3770K, but I settled on the i7-3770K because it was less expensive. I won't spend ridiculous amounts of money on things, but I won't completely cheap out on them either. This is also why I have an Energy Take Classic 5.1 system rather than computer speakers from the local Radio Shack.

Aye. These PM40s for example, while only $100 per-speaker, are at least as good quality as most things triple the price.
