I got grade 7 piano (royal conservatory) and I'm learning guitar.

Cool, man!. What songs do you play usually?

On piano, I've stopped, but in guitar, I'm learning stairway to heaven, some creed, and a little bit of AC/DC. I'm expanding my repertoire, though. How 'bout you?

I play the drums. Thats pretty much it I got a band going to.

sweet. I'm starting a band, but I've only got a singer, and me on guitars.

I wish I could play an instrument.

Buy a guitar. It's really fun.

Try the drums its easy to play and once you get into it you can make some really cool beats. And you gets to hit stuff with sticks YYYYAAAAYYYY

The hitting's the best part, huh? Oh, and Jman, just play around with stuff. Have fun with it.

Oh yeah.. I finished 4 grades of piano (then got bored and stopped; probably because of the music I had to play)

Now I'm looking forward to studying guitar this summer.

I have my own band called, Thin Density. It's bigger than your average band. One keyboard player (me), one synth player, two guitarists, one bass player, one singer, and one drummer. 7 band members.

What music do you play? Do you have any recordings that you could share?

That's a fair-sized band. But I can't figure out why you have a synth player and a keyboardist. Not why do you have them, but normally I've seen those two combined.

WE do a lot of synth solos and piano in our songs. We do music ranging from rock, metal, blues, and even some classical.

That's awesome. I'd like to take some classical music and transpose it to make then rock riffs, then add lyrics, or play classical piano with power chords, drums and bass. Some classical stuff is really good, and I've seen some classical put into rock. As I said, I'd like to do that.

Jerry Lee Lewis did stuff like that. He would find a song and make it into a blues piece. he made some great tracks that way.

Ya. I want to do exactly that, but with hard rock/metal.

I can only sing (like Kevin Max; it's pretty sweet being able to sing like that, especially when few around here can actually sing good--plus he is my favorite singer and poet) and play the trombone. (First brass instrument here.)
