Globox says Andy but the manual says Andre :S

His actual name is Andre. Globox gets attached to Andre, because of him being in his belly. Globox calls him Andy because he is his so called friend. The proper name is Andre.

Globox is so stupid. No offense to your avatar. He's probably the most well liked stupid person in the world.

Heheh... I remember making a topic exactly like this on the old RZ forums.
Anyway, when I was first playing through R3, I assumed that 'Andy' was the name they gave André in the English version of the game. But I was wrong. It was just being a nickname given to him by Globox. It's just... just motherly looove! XD

Not exactly motherly, but we can go with that.

It's Andre. The manual have reason. Globox is mistaken. But in the french version, Globox known as Andre not Andy.

<Lock> I think anyway. There is no need for further discussions on this subject.

In "The Longest Shortcut", Globox sometimes says "Take it easy Rayman. Andy's on board." even though Andre escaped in the previous cutscene. :confus:

Well...

Stan, Stanley, Stanisław, Stasiu, Staś...

Small sort of variations of my name. I think it's the same.

*sigh* It sometimes annoys me how Ubisoft can overlook the most obvious of mistakes. XD Before I read this - I had no idea what they were saying. I kind of wish Rayman 3 had text.

Anyways, although his real name is Andre - I just prefer to call him Andy. =3

I actually wonder why Globox did call him Andy at all. It makes no sense to me.

Here's my prediction. Since Globox happens to get attatched to things easily - he looked at Andre sort of like a son (Kind of weird, but...). You obviously know that fathers tend to give their sons/daughters cutish nicknames here and there.

"Wow, Reflux! You're so big and strong!"
"Yes Andy!"
"With the power of the mighty scepter, i will be able to reproduce - infinedely!!"
"Yes Andy!"
"Yes Andy, yes Andy. CAN'T YOU SAY ANYTHING ELSE!?"
"NO ANDY!!"

Aw man - that part cracked me up. XD The voices echoed in my ears as I read that. Andre's high-pitched voice along with Reflux's really low voice. I guess Globox ain't the only one who calls him 'Andy'. Wonder how it caught on...

You got my point. Good. And yes, that part is really funny.
