I felt the same way not too long ago either and I had no idea how to even add images or make things italic etc. You learn fast by looking at other articles.

I do love editing articles using Vim. With qutebrowser, I just have to press Ctrl+E and it pops up. Then I can do substitutions and ninja stuff like that.

Yeah, I wonder if it does happen on wikis that two people decide to do major edits on the same article at the same time. One would end up being puzzled as to why their edits were immediately reverted and replaced with something else.

You'll get a notification if this happens, the same way phpBB warns you of ninja posting.

I use Notepad++ for that, though I have to copy-paste from and to the article. I also use AutoWikiBrowser for some tedious maintenance tasks.

That's something I managed to do accidentally on a couple, so I'd be best to read the entire thing carefully multiple times before saving it.
