Rayman Pirate-Community

I recently got Rayman M for my computer from the 10th anniversary PC collection and I managed to install the game on my 64 bit computer by copying over the files from the cd. First the game worked fine, but after I had played through a few levels and I restarted the game it keeps crashing whenever I try to load game. There seems to be something wrong with one of my save slots as when I tried to create a new game it would only let my write over one of my slots and not the other or it would crash. I tried replacing the save file with a backup I had but it crashes on load game whenever I complete another level then. So I tried reinstalling the game and restarting from the beginning and the same thing has now started to happen again. Is this a known bug or is there maybe something wrong with my cd?

Edit: Also, sometimes some of my save slots changed names to for example :255:

That's weird indeed. Try deleting your whole Rayman M folder and try installing this:

Sorry for the late reply but your version didn't work either... I actually have two versions of Rayman M, one from 2001 (2 cd version) and one from 2008 (1 cd version) and I have tried both versions on both my computer (win7 64 bit) and on my friends computer (win8 64 bit) and the same problem occurs each time. Also, on my friends computer the game installed fine but on my computer the installer wouldn't work so I needed to copy over the files from the cd to my computer. It's usually after I complete a level in the extreme league that another save slot appears and usually after I complete a level after that it starts crashing each time I try to load a game. I am kind of confused by this as it doesn't work on any of the computers I have tried it on and it happens with both versions of the game and your version

Edit: I deleted my savefile and created a new one in the game and looked at it using a hex dump program and found the number that the extra save slots are called (150:150:255:) in the file. Also, when I installed Rayman M 2 cd version on my friends computer it said "system out of memory" whenever I tried opening the shortcut it created but it worked fine when opening the real .exe file
