Rayman Pirate-Community

I feel like each Rayman game takes place in different alternative realities; like how in Rayman 1, Rayman was part of a species but in Rayman 2 through Rayman Legends he's one of a kind and also in Rayman 1, The Magician is Rayman's species but in Origins/Legends he's a Teensie and how Polokus looks different in Rayman 2 than in Origins/Legends same goes for Betilla but with Rayman 1 and Rayman Origins.

I feel too but I love that decision, because they still kept a "close-to-original" rayman design

Just like in the Marvel comics, if you know them. They have many different universes where everything is same, but still different.

Essentially, a multiverse. Where similar ideas exist simultaneously, but they have their inherent differences.

I think it is up to the imagination of each player. There are different theories defended by different members.
